"Pony Boy!" You call out. "Yes babe?" He answers. "What are you doing? We have to get going, we're going to be late Darry is waiting for us." He doesn't answer. You start to get annoyed. You go down the hall and see him looking in the mirror touching his face. "What are you doing?" You ask. "oh umm." He blushes. "I was just looking and seeing if I grew any facial hair." You burst out laughing, and he looks down and started blushing. "Come on y/n, I'm just looking. Darry and Soda have to shave I want to start." "Are you kidding me? You wanna be exactly like Darry and Sodapop. You're Ponyboy, you're the most unique person I know don't be like them." "Thanks y/n, I just wanna be grown up." "Pony you are more grown up than any of the gang, so don't worry." You give him a quick kiss and say "Now let's get going Darry is going to kill us if we don't get going soon."
