( 3 weeks into the summer break)
I woke to mom tapping my shoulder, "time to get up honey". I yawned, "road trip today!" She reminded me. I was super excited to go on this short break with everybody. I looked at the time- 8am. "WE'RE LEAVING AT 9AM" dad shouted from downstairs. I got up, and changed into a floral crop top, white denim shorts and flip flops, I had packed my bag last night so I was ready! I quickly brushed my hair and teeth and had a wee. I was brought downstairs to the smell of pancakes. "Ohhhh" I said wide eyed at the pile of pancakes. I sat next to Gavin at the table and eat my pancakes, we were taking about where we were going, which was a secret to us kids. Avia came up to me and hugged me tight, "what's this hug for?" I laughed, "I'm so EXCITED" she screamed. Dad came through vlogging "so blondetard, are you excited for our first holiday together as A BIG LOVING FAMILY?" He said, his arm around my shoulder, "yup, really excited" I chirped, hugging my dad. Soon enough dad and uncle casey had packed the 2 cars we were taking- me, mom, dad, Gavin, Avia, Emmi, Brock, Daxton, uncle casey, aunt Kayli, braylee, cooper and logiebear. 9am came around and we all got in our separate cars, I sat beside Avia and Emmi, mom says it would take until 2pm to get to our destination. We set off, singing mostly church songs, I have 2 things I forgot to say, mom and dad got me an iPhone and taught me how to use it, and also I got the choice if I wanted to go to the Mormon church every Sunday, and I was always never really interesting in religions because I wasn't really able to properly follow one, in the care home. But i decided to try it out, and I love it! Yeah so we sang a lot, after we were basically in silence staring at the lovely view that was before us. I got the vlogging camera, "hey guys it's blondetard and as you know we are going on a road trip for a few days and yeah, us kids don't know where, it's like a surprise. But we have this amazing view outside" I began, as I vlogged the veiw. "And we'll I've never really been on a proper road trip or holiday so I'm so so excited to go. And dads driving" I did a close up of his face, "moms writing something down, Emmi's sleeping, avias listening to music, so she probably can't hear me and Gavin's reading diary of a wimpy kid" I explained before putting the camera down. I was bored so decided to rest my eyes. Next thing I knew we were there!
