A/N: This will be my last post for a while so I thought I'd do a decent length.

A few days later on a sunny Saturday morning, I was laying in bed when my phone rang at the side of me. I glanced at the screen and it said "unknown caller." I decide to answer it for a bit of fun. "If you're calling me about your latest scam, you can bog off! I wasn't.." I started shouting down the phone. "Ms. Williams, this is Mr. Dalton from Dalton Enterprises calling..." I could tell he was just about to say something else but I cut him off. "What do you want?! You already said I didn't get the job! I could do you for harassment you know! I didn't exactly get a fair interview anyway did I because you spent most of it with your eyes glued to my sodding chest you stupid pervert! How did you get my number anyway?!" I snapped at him angrily. "There's something called a C.V you know? I got your number off there." He replied sarcastically. "Just tell me what the fuck do you want so I can go back to bed." I replied, getting really annoyed by this point. "First of all, I do not appreciate or accept any kind of foul language in front of my two rather impressionable seven year old boys.." He started to tell me but I cut him off again. "Yeah well, it's a good job I'm not going to meet these "impressionable seven year old boys" then isn't it? If that's everything Mr. Dalton, I'm going back to sleep as it's 7:30am. Good luck with finding a suitable nanny for your twins but it's not me and it will never be me. Goodbye." I put the phone down before he got the chance to say anything else.

A few minutes later, he texted me. "Ms. Williams, I was out of order. I'm sorry. Look, the truth is, I've interviewed several other people since the other day and not one of them has even come close to you. One of the interviewees thought my children were called Maggie and Margaret, despite the fact I told her three times that they're boys called Mason and Mickey. You've got a fiery personality which would need to be toned down a bit, I'm not going to lie. I can tell from being around you that you're hard working, passionate and determined. My boys need someone like you to guide them. They lost their mother at two years old so they don't really remember her. I show them pictures and things, of course I do and I know they have me but I'm no good at all this "women's touch" stuff. They need you, I need you. Please Ella? I'd never normally beg someone so you must be pretty special to have me begging." I childishly left him on read for 30 minutes whilst I went back to sleep. "I'll text him when I get up." I sighed to myself.

I decided to text him back once I'd woken up. "I can't come and work for you. I have another job lined up." I don't have another job lined up but he doesn't need to know that. I'm going to have fun with this and see how much I can make Mr. Big man Sam Dalton squirm. I get a reply a few minutes later. "Please Ella? Tell them you've changed your mind and you've already got a job." Although I couldn't see his facial expression, I could tell he was definitely squirming by this point. Smirking to myself, I typed back a reply. "I haven't already got a job working for you though have I?" I walked over to my wardrobe and picked out an outfit for the day. "I might as well get up now thanks to that idiot." I muttered to myself. A few minutes later, my phone goes again. "The job is yours if you want it. I'm not going to ask again. Just let me know if it's a yes or a no so I can take the job application post down." He replied back. "Fine, I'll accept your job offer then." I messaged back. "See that wasn't so difficult was it little miss stroppy? You can start tomorrow at 9:00am and not a minute later. If you're late, I'm going to have to punish you." He replied back a few minutes later. "I messaged him back two minutes later. "What sort of "punishment" are we talking about?" He replied almost instantly. "If you want to find out, do your best to be late tomorrow morning Ms. Williams." I text back "I might just do that Mr Dalton." I got a reply two minutes later. "You do that Ms. Williams. Expect a severe punishment though 😉" I replied back "you're sending me winky faces now, huh? This could be seen as an attempt to get me into bed before I've even started the job Mr. Dalton."

He phoned me two minutes later. "I most certainly was not trying to get you into bed Ms. Williams. I could have you eating out of the palm of my hand if I wanted to." He laughed. "That's a very bold statement to make Mr Dalton. It's a shame it's not true." I smirked to myself. "Oh really? Just admit you fancy me and we can get past all the pleasantries." He replied, clearly seeming sure of himself. "F-fancy you? I-I don't fancy you M-Mr. Dalton. We've only met the once and even then I thought you were a cocky bastard." I replied defiantly. "What have I told you about using that language Ms. Williams. One extra large punishment coming up for you tomorrow." I sighed and hung up. Time to get thoughts of whatever it was that I felt about my future boss out of my head. I CANNOT screw this up! Forget about Sam Dalton, Ella, and focus on establishing a professional relationship with the boss. I'm just going to be the nanny to his two boys. That's all there is to it, nothing more, nothing less.

I thought back to what he called me earlier. "little miss stroppy." Samuel Dalton. You're going to really find out how stroppy I can get. Buckle your seatbelt because you're in for a bumpy ride, my friend.
