Family: King Arthur and Queen Esme (mother & father), 1 older brother

Emily was raised to be a proper girl. She was trained to not disobey and to things that were lady-like. She did all of these things and was promised that she would get to choose her husband and that it wouldn't be arranged. While she loved the outdoors and more things that were consider unlady-like, she wanted to be able to choose who she would married. On her 18th birthday, her parents revealed that they were going to arrange the marriage and that suitors would be coming in soon. Emily didn't go quietly. Instead, she was rude and combative towards any suitors that came. Soon she had the reputation of being trouble, spoiled, and bratty, but she rather have that reputation. When a pirate ship shows up to their land to raid it, her parents jumped at the chance to make the trade for their daughter's hand in marriage to Captain and in return him and his crew not raid their lands. Emily is shocked when he agrees.

Love Interest: Princess Selene Dormer 

Geralt grew up with a father, who was a pirate,  and a mother, who did not care about him. His mother handed him off to his father when he was still a toddler. Geralt's father cared for him, but was harsh and strict. His father had to be in order to teach Geralt the lifestyle of a pirate. Geralt was trained it all types of combat and excelled as he grew up. Geralt knew he would be Captain one day, but he never knew it would be when he was only 17 years old. Geralt's father was killed by an enemy pirate. He was tortured and then killed. It almost broke Geralt. The only thing that stopped him from breaking was how he wanted revenge and he got he. He tortured the man for years before killing him. Geralt was then known to be a scary, and treacherous pirate. He never believed he would find a girl for him, but then he met Selene and everything he previous thought seemed to change.
