How dare you?
Honestly, how fucking dare you?
I held my heart out to dry,
While I licked your wounds,
I held your hands between my trembling fingers,
When it was cold and had nothing left to give,
To ask anything of you,
Is to ask for a universe you are unwilling to give,
You are worse than the thief,
The thief leaves,
But your damage is continuous,
It is methodological,
You have it down to a science,
You dare to talk to me,
Like I don't have bandages drenched
In blood you spilled,
An undying cycle,
I've lived this too many times to cycle through it once more,
But your venom is sweet,
It is full of promises,
Of gentle actions between blood shed,
It is a cycle I've grown all too addicted to,
And that I'm tired of,
I can't feel out of breath forever,
Like I have a thousand words to say,
And I'm only drowning in them again -
To breathe by your side is a crime,
And I'm in the age of rebellion.
