(Monday)

I walked into the entrance of Hexside when my eye caught Willow and Gus "HEY LUZ! Over here!" Gus screamed from his locker, I walked over and said hi.

"Soo hows the eye?" Gus said pointing at my eye "better then before" I responded, before Gus could respond the bell rang and we said our goodbyes and headed to class. My first class was with Amity and as I walked towards it I grew nervous. Calm down Luz, Amity doesn't feel the same just get over it. I told myself repeatedly before entering the classroom.

When I walked in I saw Amity sitting down with Boscha, they both turned towards me and gave me a smile which probably means Amity told Boscha about the incident but there smiles faded as Boscha ran behind me dragging Amity to meet TJ, Amity turned her head once again and gave me smile before she focused her attention on TJ.

I think I know how she feels now, of course she would choose TJ he's better and she's straight. I sat down in my seat in the back of the class and watched as TJ gave Amity a hug, I tucked my head into my arms and soon enough fell asleep.

"Luz! LUZ!" My head plopped up to new the teachers eyes who had been screaming my name for a while and now had the whole classes eyes on me too. "Luz you can't fall asleep in my class! So stay awake or you'll be going to the principals!" I sighed and looked over to my classmates when I met Amity's eyes, she looked a little worried but just smiled and turned back around.

(Time skip to lunch)

"cmon Willow just trade me the Muffin! You don't even like it!" Gus said trying to reach towards Willows food while we sat at the lunch table in the cafeteria "NO Gus! I told you repeatedly I DO like it!" While the two argued I felt someone tap my shoulder, I turned around to see Boscha "oh uh...hi Boscha?"

"Hi Luz I just wanted to come over here and thank you for helping Amity" she looked towards a table a little far from our where Amity, TJ and a couple other girls sat. "Oh um no problem".

"Oh! Hey Boscha" Willow and Gus finally noticed Boscha standing next to me and said their hellos "hey Willow, I wanted to ask you something" Willow waited for her question.
"Are you busy after school?" Boscha asked, "um no not at all" Willow quickly said "good meet me by the tree next to the bikes outside after school" she winked at Willow then waved at us and walked away. "WHAT- WHAT JUST HAPPENED" Gus screeched "GUS! Calm down she just wants to meet with me that's all" Willow turned a bright red and Gus caught on "Omg! You like her! Aww" Willow pinched Gus in the arm and I just laughed.

Soon after the bell rang and I had my next class with Amity "alright bye Luz!" Gus and Willow said before walking off into the halls. I picked up my backpack and heard someone call my name behind me "hey Luz, um wanna walk to class?" I turned to see Amity holding her backpack with one arm "oh uh yeah sure" I started walking with her in silence. I didn't know what to say and I don't think she did either so I decided to ask the only question I thought of.

"So um you and TJ?" She turned towards me quickly and let out a nervous chuckle which was odd "oh um yeah well after the party on Friday he took me out the next day and we had a good time I guess" I knew she liked him and he liked her I should just give up and maybe avoid her, it's the only way I can be sure to loose feelings "oh yeah that's great He seems like a good guy" I said.

"Yeah he really is" she responded, we finally got into the classroom and I walked to my spot, but this time she sat down next to me. "Oh is it okay if I sit here?" I nodded yes and we both sat down "hello class today we will be talking about a new assignment" Mrs Lilith said. "We will be doing a partner project about ecosystems, you and your partner that I assign you will choose an ecosystem and make a presentation about it to the class" everyone nodded and she began reading off partners, I didn't want to be partners with Amity I don't think I'd be able to handle it, or her talking about TJ again. "Charlie and Paris, Joshua and Carlos, Amity and Luz" Dammit. This was the only thing I wanted to avoid.

After the teacher finished up the names Amity faced me "so do you wanna talk about the project today?".

"Yeah but where?" I asked, "well we can go to my house if you want" I agreed and we turned towards the teacher again for the rest of the class.

I was getting really nervous about this assignment and not because it's difficult but because I'll be working with Amity and I'm just worried I'll do something wrong for her to hate me again or start liking her ever more.

(Sorry this chapter is a little short, I'll try to make the chapters a little longer but did you guys watch the new episode- IFBSJSB When Amity was talking to herself about going to the same school as Luz I SCREAMED)
