"Hmm... Who's that?" Skye asked him.
"I met her in Phys Ed period." Marshall told them.
"So, how exactly did you meet her, because, I know you're a shy kid." Chase asked.
"Well, here's what happened."
FLASHBACK WITH MARSHALL'S POV
I went outside to the basketball court, since it was our games period. There were two others playing on the court, so I decided to go to the soccer field, because, soccer is life. I was going there when I saw probably the most beautiful girl I had ever seen in my entire life.
She was about the same height as me, with Cyan dyed hair and sky blue eyes. She was really pretty. When I went closer to her, I noticed something. She was Crying.
I felt my inner gentleman come out. I went to her, sat down beside her and asked, "What's the matter? Why are you crying?"
"Everyone says that just because I work out, I look unattractive. What's the problem with that?" She cried into the crook of my neck.
No way. There's no way that's true. She looked so beautiful. How could they call her unattractive?
"Listen. I think they're saying that just to lower your self esteem. Don't listen to them. You don't look unattractive at all. In fact, you look gorgeous." I said. I kind of blushed, realizing what I had just said, but, at least that cheered her up.
"Really?" She asked. "You think I'm beautiful?"
"Yeah. You're probably the most beautiful girl I've ever seen." We both were blushing. We decided to have a little hug before I left for 2nd period, so that's what we did.
"Thank you for everything. Oh silly me, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Everest."
"And I'm Marshall."
"See you soon Marsh." She said with a smile as she left. "Ma-Marsh? I mean, umm, see you too!" I said, kind of stuttering at the name, before going back in for the 2nd period.
END OF FLASHBACK AND POV
"Wow dude. I'm proud of you." Chase said as he gave his brother a pat on the back and a manly hug. "You're growing up so fast."
"I guess I am."
"Go get her Tiger." Skye said.
"I can't exactly go right now. Geez this rain hasn't stopped for a while." He said, looking outside. It was still raining heavily.
"If this keeps up, I'm pretty sure school will get cancelled tomorrow." Chase said. Anyways, you guys wanna watch a movie or something?"
"Yeah sure." They both said. The trio went back down to the basement, into the Movie room. There was a huge flat screen TV integrated into the wallxand it had dark lighting, to add to the 'theater' feel. Plus, instead of seats there were Lazyboy Recliners.
"So what do you guys want for snacks?" Marshall asked.
"Popcorn." Chase and Skye said at the same time.
"Okay. I'll go make some. You two stay here and start the movie." He said as he left to make some popcorn. Meanwhile, Chase and Skye were going through the movies to watch.
"Comedy?"
"Nah"
"Romance?"
"I'd usually watch that, but nah."
"How about action."
"Too lame."
There weren't many categories left, so they went to the trending section and looked at the #1 movie.
"Hmm...Alone."
"I think that's a horror movie." Skye said.
"Wanna watch it?"
"Yeah sure. I like horror movie." She said as he played the movie and reclined their seats, also wearing their 3d glasses.
"Can I ask you something?"
"Yeah?"
"Can I hold your hand while watching the movie. I'm kind of used to doing that while watching a horror movie." She asked. Chase felt a warm feeling inside him, but he wasn't sure what it meant.
"Yeah sure." He said as he offered his hand to her. They locked their hands firmly, in a kind of, romantic way, if you will.
The movie started. The real horror began with a scene in which the ghost was right behind the main character mMarshall bolted in through the door just when it jump scares him, which, in addition to the horror scene, scared the living daylights out of them.
"JEEZ! MARSHALL! Dude you almost scared us to death!"
"Uhh, sorry about that. Anyways, popcorn?"
They all sat back and enjoyed their tub of pizza maxx popcorn.
"Wow, this tastes epic." Skye said.
"Yep. Best popcorn flavour in the world."
After the movie ended, they went back up to the ground floor. It was still raining. Chase checked the satellite footage, and say that there was a huge typhoon above the entire state.
"Yup. What I figured. Hurricane."
"I think we gotta make the hurricane proof changes again." Marshall said.
They went to the circuit room, where there were 5 buttons on the wall. Chase pressed the one that said 'AHM'. Giant pieces of metal were being lowered down from the spaces above in order to cover the windows and doors. The backyard pool also got covered and everything was moved inside on the rails.
"All of that is happening on its own and we don't need to move a muscle. Ain't that cool?"
"Yup. That's pretty sick. Well, I guess this is what lockdown feels like." She said as they went to Chase's room.
They were just laying around on the bed, when Chase got a call from someone.
"Hello?"
"Umm, hi. Is this Chase?"
"Yes, whose this?"
"It's Rocky."
SO I'M GONNA BE DOING SOMETHING FOR EVERY STORY, WHICH IS MILESTONE UPDATILN, OR IN OTHER WORDS, UPDATING A STORY AT A CERTAIN READ AND VOTE NUMBER.
