in the droplets of rain
the soft roar of thunder
& the dull glow of the moon
as the clock struck twelve.
i found love
in the gentle waves of the ocean,
the whisper of the breeze
& the sand slipping through my toes.
i found love
with fantasies lurking inside a book
the gentle rustle of the pages turning
& travelling to places
that i was yet to discover.
i found love
in poetry & words
in anything black
and everything white.
i found beauty,
in unspoken words
& was lured
by songs and melodies.
i fell in love
with inanimate objects
with space & time
with life & myself.
