Anna rushed upstairs to dress Lady Mary. She entered the room with haste.
"There you are Anna." Lady Mary said impatiently.
"I'm so sorry m'lady."
"What was keeping you?"
"I got carried away." Anna said sheepishly.
"Anna, the case has crumbled. The police won't be back." Lady Mary said with a look of concern.
"I know, m'lady. I just..." Anna tripped and fell with her head landing on Lady Mary's dresser. Lady Mary stood in concern and walked over to Anna. Anna was unconscious. Lady Mary rushed into the hall and saw Bates.
"Bates, Anna's hurt herself." Lady Mary said and Bates was immediately by Anna's side.
"Anna," he tried to wake her up, but there was no answer. Lady Mary was calling Dr. Clarkson. Bates held Anna in his arms hoping that she would be alright.
