Silence filled room, as not even a drop of a pen could be heard.  I stared at the the clock's winding hand that was five minutes away from the three. School was almost out. I tapped my pencil repeatedly to the sound of tick-tick-tick-tick. Today I would be visiting my friend Harry, who was visiting Cheshire while being on break from a US tour. Harry, who I had known since I was born, tried out about two years ago for the hit show X-Factor. Unforunately, I never saw him that often, so it was hard being away from him for so long, which had added up to about 20 months since I'd last seen him by now. During his time on the show, he was put together in a group, now known as One Direction. The band's popularity increasingly grew quickly. I was happy for Harry, but at the same time, I felt an ache of pain. Everytime I saw him, he somehow managed to put a smile on my face. I was almost nervous about the thought of seeing Harry after over a year and a half, wondering if he missed me as much as I missed him. When I was little, I could remember almost every memory we had together. Our Moms would sit their and smile so graciously, laughing about how they thought we'd be a married couple when we grew up. It was an outraegous thought. I could remember Harry's soft voice, we were five, "Avery, I can bet if I race you to that tree, I will beat you there!" I laughed. "You're on." Harry screamed, "On your mark, get set, GO!" And just like everytime, he gave me the head start. I could never beat him though. I laughed to myself in class, smiling softly at the memory I was visioning in my head. I looked around slowly, making sure no one saw me. "Haha! I beat you!" Harry squeaked. We both fell onto the ground laughing until our stomachs hurt. I wiped the tears from my eyes that were caused by the constant laughing. Harry sat up and looked at me, "Avery, you're my bestfriend." He smiled, grabbing my hand playfully. I spoke those next few words, remembering them so vividly. "You will always be my bestfriend."
