Was it just me? Or was our house burning up? My cheeks were rosy, and I started to feel the sweat behind my long, dark brown, curled locks that fell almost by the sides of my waist. "Honey!" My mom shouted, who was cooking in the kitchen. "Yeah, Mum?" "Harry and Anne will be here in about twenty minutes, would you mind setting up the table?" She said, one eyebrow raised. I rolled my eyes, turning away before she saw that the exspression on my face meant I was annoyed. I was trying to get ready. Tonight was a big night. "Sure.." I mumbled. "Thank you baby." She said, pecking me on the cheek. After I finished setting up the table, I quickly walked to the bathroom, checking my apperance for almost the hundreth time. I wanted to look okay. Well, I wanted to look more then okay. As I was applying another coat of lip gloss, I heard three loud knocks that sounded like gunshots, which sent a jolt of heat through my body. Why am I so nervous? He's your bestfriend, you have known him forever. Calm down, Avery. Before answering the door, I took one last look in the mirror, and gulped. I hadn't realized it, but my mom had already let them in. Anne, Harry's mother, stood wearing a cardigan sweater, and and a leather jacket. I hadn't seen her in so long. Harry being gone didn't give me any exscuse to go over there. I hugged her tightly, smiling at her politely. Then I looked to my left, where Harry stood. He looked so, muscular, so, handsome. His green eyes locked with mine, looking more beautiful then ever. His hair was the same, curly, but this time more thick. He grinned, showing off his white teeth, and pulled me in for a tight hug, almost knocking the breath out of me. He felt so strong. He wore a v-neck, and white converse. As I looked him in the eyes, he spoke, "I missed you." I giggled. "Welcome home."
