I headed home, a weight of worry on my back. Frisk hadn't stopped by at all today. She missed work, and wasn't answering any of my calls. Only once did she message me. To say that her friend was really unstable right now and she needs to get them some help. That she couldn't have possibly stopped by. Then she went on to apologize a million times, to which I told her it was fine and that I'd just ask to stay with Toriel.
I really didn't want to go back just in case everyone was still there, but my options were limited.Beep boop boop...

"Your call has been forwarded to an automatic voicemail.
Hello! Sorry I couldn't pick up the phone! Leave a message for me and I will get back to you as soon as possible! Thank you for your pati-"Beep.
I hung up before the recording could finish, I didn't want to leave a message and inconvenience her anymore than I already had. Uncertainty continued to dwell inside of me as my mind could only think of one possible solution.
"Hello?"
"Hey G."
"Hey y/n, why are you calling me? Is something wrong"
"Yeah, actually. Uhm, Tori wasn't answering her phone and Frisk still isn't home, so, you're kinda the only person I can turn to right now. I know I'm asking a lot of you but could I maybe stay at your place tonight? You wouldn't even know I was there, I promise I just, don't exactly want to sleep on the curb."
"*sigh* sure. I'll come pick you up. Don't ask how I know where you live because I've already mentioned that me and frisk do in fact associate and I've visited when you were out of town."
"Right right, well I'll be waiting. See ya soon."
"Uh huh."

Welp.
That happened. Not sure how I feel about spending the night at someone's house, especially when I just met them yesterday. But, again, he's friends with Frisk. I still don't understand why she never introduced me to him. Maybe she thought we wouldn't get along. I don't know. I feel like we were bound to meet eventually, but maybe she felt that it would be better for the universe to decide that time.
I patiently waited for G to arrive, I had no idea what he would be appearing in. What kind of car, or if he even had a car. I anxiously tapped my foot checking my phone immediately and very time I heard a buzz. But no message. He wouldn't have just, left me out here right? I mean, I know he's kinda rude, but G just doesn't seem like the kind of person to ditch others.
"Y/n, hey! Over here."
That voice.
"Frisk?!"
I looked up to see, yep. Frisk!
She was wearing a blue jacket over her usual T-shirt and shorts."Hey, I didn't know you were coming back? Why didn't you text me?"
"Hey, so sorry about that! I guess I forgot."
Guess I'll call G and let him know that it's a false alarm. I feel bad for making him come down here.
"G!"
"What? I'm on my way chill out."
"About that, uhm. Frisk is actually home, she got here while I was waiting for you. She just forgot to text me. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience, but have you so much for allowing me to stay even if it didn't actually happen, I really appreciate it!"
"Oh, cool. I'm off the hook! Heh, alrighty well I'll see you around, Night y/n."
"Night!"

Thank you guys so much for 400 reads! I couldn't thank you enough! I know that isn't considered a lot for most people, but for me it is! I hope you're enjoying this story and I'll try to be updating more often. I kinda got out of my funk for a bit there. But with school coming up it might be difficult, though I am trying my best!
