My e/c eyes were shown in the morning sun that seeped through my dirty window. I was awoken by no alarm, but by a rather unsettling dream. A dream that was like a replay of the events that transpired last night. Pushing the memory out of my head, and saving it for another time I checked my phone.

BEEP

BEEP

BEEP

"Jesus Christ!" I jumped still wrapped in my ever so cozy blanket and turning off the obnoxious noise. I could have sworn I had changed the alarm to allow me to sleep later in the day. Since work didn't start till 10am.
I took a small moment to adjust to the morning light, soon  texting Frisk, apologizing for the hassle and informing her I would make sure to ask her before I took her personal belongings. Rolling out of bed, knowing I wouldn't be able to fall back asleep, and sluggishly headed to the kitchen.

Throughout my morning I couldn't help but keep coming back to that night. Maybe I was overreacting again. But I just couldn't understand as to why Frisk has turned so, so hostile, so angry. Of all the things I had just buried in the back of my head to handle another time, this kept coming back no matter how I tried to distract myself.
But, I carried on anyway. Work started, people flowed in and out of the small cafe. Lucky for me, no skeletons entered at all throughout the day.
Well, I could think that all I wanted. But the truth was that I had kind of been hoping G would stop by. Simply because he and Frisk were clearly close, and maybe she had gone to him last night?

The cafe closed for the day and I headed home checking my phone and feeling a stone- more like a boulder in my stomach as Frisk hadn't replied to my texts.
'I needed to get to my safe place, try to calm down' I thought packing my phone safely I'm my back pocket and jogging back to the apartment.

Once inside, I came to the conclusion that it would probably be best to call G. Hesitant you click the call button on his contacts.
"Elo?" A rough familiar voice answered. "Hey, G. Have you seen Frisk. I know it's a weird question. But, she hasn't answered any of my messages, and she's close with you. I don't know what else to do..." I squeaked our the last few words trying to hide my anxious tone. "I don't know where she is or what she's doin' she sent me a message saying she was going somewhere, and wasn't going to be at work tomorrow. That's it." Okay. Well. At least she contacted him. "Could you come over please. I'm worried about her and her strange behavior. I mean she flipped out for no reason and then she left last night. I just, I- don't know what to do." I stuttered, my anxiety starting to unravel through the phone. He let out a distant sigh "Alright. I don't have anything else to do. I'll see ya in about ten minutes, m'kay? Don't stress." His voice had slightly deepened as I heard the distant clink of his car keys. "Yeah, see ya then."

Click-

I set my phone down in the table. And proceeded to sit in silence for a good while until it was disturbed by abrupt knocking. I opened the door, and was met with a chest. Sighing I looked up to see G, who looked rather calm, as usual. "M'kay. So, you want me to help you find Frisk right? I can't imagine you called me over here just to stare at me. Of course, that wouldn't be the first time someone's done that." Ugh, There's that ego. I scooted aside allowing him to step in, directing him to the couch. He sat down, sliding his black leather jacket off his shoulders. "Yes. I need your help finding her, I mean she hasn't responded to me at all. And I don't know how to find her." I said, pulling up 'texts' on my phone and showing him the chat. He stared at it, studying it. To be quite honest that intent focused look, was quite cute. Despite the fact that he had no muscles in his face, it
still seemed like he raised an eyebrow.
After a brief moment of staring he swiped my phone out of my hand. "Hey! G. G!" I growled reaching for my phone. He kept his sockets glued to the phone simply pushing my forehead away and. "Heh, got it." He mumbled to himself. "Got what?" I asked, sounding like a  clueless little girl. G chuckled darkly walking towards the door and throwing his jacket over his shoulder. "Come on.  We're going to the west side of town." He unlocked the door using- "How did you get my keys?!" I stared, somewhat concerned. "Not that hard, while you were being a brat about your phone I reached into your back pocket. You should really put your keys elsewhere though. It makes your butt look pointy." I opened my mouth to say something, but found my words to be empty, sealing my lips once again. I silently followed him out to his car, and hopped in. "So, why are we going here?" I questioned looking out the window. "Easy, Frisk has her phone. Or her phone is somewhere, so it shows up on Snapchat. See." G said, handing me my phone his eyes still on the road. "Oh. I didn't even think to check that."
I could feel the smile creeping in his face, ready to make a snarky comment about my intelligence. "Don't say anything." I pouted, watching him close his mouth allowing that, rather cute smile to remain.
"We'll get there in, I'd say maybe, 25 minutes or so? Maybe longer, traffic is staring to clear up, since yeh sun is going down, but, still traffic nonetheless. You want music? You can choose." I smiled turning in the Bluetooth to my phone and connecting it to his car speakers. "Yes please."
