Leilani floated down the waterways. Her body switched between solid and liquid, water deities swirled around her packing her wound with kelps and seaweeds. But she was fading fast. Her phasing slowed down by the second hour. Red seeped into the water. The water began to bubble and push her body down to the floor somehow Leilani had floated out to sea. The coral seemed as if it pulsated with life. Slowly a bubble began to form around her body, separating her from the water. She was in a pocket of air the size of a ballroom. Through her slight consciousness she made out sea life. Whales, dolphins, lion fish, clown fish, tiger shark, sea horses, hippocampi, ichothyocentaurs. Leilani was dizzy from the colors. The mud felt warm and inviting. She didn't notice the faint silver glow that started to come off her body. But she did realize she wasn't alone. Leilani felt herself being lifted into a sitting position. She recognized the faces. All four of them. Cymopoleia, Ceto, Amphitrite, and Galene. Amphitrite spoke "Young water treader. We will assist you. You will live and you will fight. You have the oath and allegiance of all water folk." The earth began to quake and panic crossed all of their faces. Galene placed her hands on Leilani's face and immediately Leilani began to drift but she heard one thing: "We must hide her for now. It will take her a couple hours at most to recover. War is approaching. "

Malik came to consciousness, his head was pained. He felt that whatever barriers had been in his mind weakened. He brought his hands up to wipe his face, to his horror they were scarlet. But he didn't understand why he was feeling this negative. He'd killed countless people under God's orders. But this girl. Her blood smelt different. He began to tremble. Leilani. As soon as he thought the name a memory came to him. It was Leilani. He finally remembered the word he couldn't remember because she said it. They were laying down in an enclosure with an open roof. She was beneath his arm and she spoke, "Malik...I love you". The angel felt an anger boil in him, the chain of fate around his neck flickered weakly. He had to find Leilani.

*KYMOPOLEIA (or Cymopoleia) was a Haliad nymph daughter of the god Poseidon and wife of the hundred-handed, storm-giant Briareos. She was goddess of the violent storm waves generated by her stormy husband and, like her husband, presumably was of gigantic form.

*KETO (or Ceto) was a marine goddess who personified the dangers of the sea. She was more specifically a goddess of whales, large sharks, and sea-monsters.

*AMPHITRITE was the goddess queen of the sea, the wife of King Poseidon.

*GALENE was goddess of calm seas

*HIPPOKAMPOI (or Hippocamps) were the horses of the sea. They were depicted as composite creatures with the head and fore-parts of a horse and the serpentine tail of a fish.

*IKHTHYOKENTAUROI (or Ichothyocentaurs) were a pair of centaurine sea-gods with the upper bodies of men, the lower fore-parts of horses, ending in the serpentine tails of fish. Their brows were adorned with a pair of lobster-claw horns
