I ran and ran for a long time. The sun was already down, the sky was dark and I was surrounded by darkness both inside and outside. I was so frustrated and angry at my father. I wanted to throw this engagement ring then go to Sara and ask her for a date. The only thing stopping me from doing so was the promise I made with my mother. I was only 11 years old at that time when my mother made me promise that I'll remain faithful to 'the girl'- my fiancée. Even though I didn't know her, I still remained faithful to her.

I stopped and sat under a large oak tree. Cold air passed through my body. It was peaceful here and I closed my eyes to enjoy this peace. After 15 minutes, I was jolted awake by a strange crying sound. I looked around searching for the source of the sound. That's when I saw him sitting near a willow tree. His clothes were torn slightly and there was a small injury on his knee. His face was covered with his hands. I felt a strong emotion to protect him.

What's wrong with me? I mumbled in low voice.

"Hey, why are you crying?" I asked him. His jolted up and looked at me. There was unmistakable fear on his face. Instantly guilt rose in me for scaring him like that.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you." I said slowly approaching him. When I was two feet away from him I gasped. He was beautiful. No, let me rephrase that. He was breathtakingly gorgeous. His deep blue eyes, rosy cheeks, flawless glowing skin, cute nose and those full lips, they made him look like a god of beauty. If it wasn't for his short hair and moustache, I would have mistaken him for a girl. Everything about him was beautiful except his moustache and hair. It looked like he was wearing a..... wig? Suddenly his lips trembled and I had to resist an urge to kiss him.

What the hell. I was just thinking about kissing guy. Was his beauty turning me into gay man? May be It was some side effect of not sleeping with girls.

I averted my eyes from his face to distract myself. "Who are you?" I asked him.

"Lun—Luke," He said. His voice was so melodic and sounded a bit girly. So much for distracting myself. Damn!

He looked scared. There was this strong feeling inside me that wanted me to comfort him. I took one step closer to him but he quickly took several steps back. That's when I realized, he was frightened by... me.

"Your knees are bleeding" I pointed out. I was hoping taking care of his wounds would make him comfortable with me. I didn't know why but I hated that he was scared of me. "Let me take care of-"

"No, don't touch me" He screamed before I could even complete my sentence. I was taken aback by his loud reaction. He acted as if I wanted to do something to him. God! he's so weird.

"Hey, hey relax." I tried to calm him. I looked down at his wound and I was surprised. His wounds were healing. That means...

"Are you a werewolf?" I asked him. Eyes wide with fear, he looked mortified by my question. His facial expression was similar to a man that had just spilled his secrets accidentally. I raised my eyebrow reminding him to answer. He paused and looked around me as if searching for a way to escape.

"Yes," That simple answer only gave birth to countless questions in my head. I sniffed the air trying to catch his scent but there was nothing. If he was werewolf then why didn't I smelled wolf in him? Maybe he had masked his scent. However, only a few wolves who had Alpha's blood in them could mask their scent. So he is-

"I am lost. Will you help me go back to my home?" He requested me. I was taken aback by his revelation. So, he was crying because he was lost? What a weakling for someone who had Alpha's blood in their veins.

"Where do you live?"

"At castle hill." His voice sounded timid. He was reluctant to give me his address. Castle hill was an isolated place. I thought no one lived there. I guess I was wrong.

"Castle Hill is too far away. It would take us two hours to reach there. And it's already dark. Forest is not safe at night." I stated. Suddenly an idea came in my mind.

"My pack is at one-hour walking distance. Let's go to my pack for today. I will drop you to Castle hill in morning." I suggested to him. He shook his head no.

"Why not?" I asked.

"It's not right to go to a stranger house." I almost laughed at his answer. He sounded like an 8-year-old girl.

"Hi, I'm Xavier. Now that you know my name we aren't stranger. Now, will you come with me?" I said. He looked annoyed but I didn't care. He seemed to be thinking then he shook his head in negative.

"Common on" I grabbed his hand and an intense jolt of current passed through me. Sparks were flying everywhere through our joined hands. It felt amazing. At that moment I did not care If he was a man, I just wanted to keep holding his hands. Suddenly, he pulled his hand away from my grasp and lifted it up to slap me.

"Don't touch me" He shouted and slapped me hard in my right cheek. It felt like I was being slapped by a girl. Despite that, it hurt. I was sure there would be red fingerprints at my right cheek. He turned and started running in the opposite direction.

I was paralyzed by shock. So I didn't follow him. I stood there like a statue as he ran away from me. He soon vanished from my line of sight. I felt uneasy.

Will I ever see him again? The very thought of not seeing him made me sad. Oh god! Am I becoming gay? But I am engaged to a girl.
