Sixteen- Suspicions in Class

I let myself plop down on the couch and waited till it was time to leave. Ei sat down next to me with a bowl of cereal and started eating it in front of me. I looked at him and groaned, then turned my head away. I waited till he was done and stood back up to move. Once it was late enough to head to class I left without Ei; I may still have some kind of tolerance for him even after he did that to me, but I don't want to walk with him.

As I was walking down the path I heard fast running, so I stiffened up and waited to get smacked upside the head for not waiting. When the smack never came I slowly and rigidly turned to face whoever it was, but it was only Icyhot. I relaxed slightly and looked forward again, not saying a word but enjoying his presence.

"Bakugo, I know you didn't want to talk about it last night, but your eye is starting to turn a really dark shade of purple. And I know you covered the marks on your neck; you should go to Recovery Girl" Todoroki said, breaking the silence.

"Don't worry about it. I'll be fine" I said quieter than I intended to.

"Are you alright Bakugo? You're awfully quiet today. Have you eaten anything?" He questioned as he got closer to me.

I did the only thing I could think of and whipped out the granola bar that was in my pocket, "I'm having it later. I'm not hungry right now" I huffed out as I fought to keep my stomach quiet.

"Are you sure? I thought I heard your stomach growl when I first got to you" Icyhot questioned, continuing to pester me.

"Yeah, I'm sure" I said as I stuffed the bar back in my pocket. As soon as I stuffed my hands in the pockets of my blazer, my stomach growled loudly.

"Fuck" I mumbled as I held my stomach and turned away from Todoroki.

"You wanna try that again? Eat the granola bar, Bakugo. He won't know if you throw the wrapper out before class" he said as he looked at me with concern.

"Wh-what are you talking about?" I asked nervously. He just looked at me sternly then behind him. I looked too and when there was no one he grabbed my hand and had me stop walking.

"Bakugo, you personally told me he doesn't let you eat. So eat now while he's not here. We're gonna be talking about this later and I expect you to at least tell me more than I know now" he said as he started walking again, keeping my hand in his.

I let it stay there as we walked, it was comforting and somehow made me feel safe even though it was only hand holding. I slowly took the bar out and ripped it open with my teeth, not wanting to pull my hand away. I ate the granola bar as we walked to class and threw the wrapper out in a garbitch can near the bathrooms.

Todoroki pulled his hand away and I was honestly kinda sad, but I made no visible acknowledgement as we both walked in at the same time. I walked in class and was getting stared at for the black eye I had. As soon as I sat down I was surrounded by my weirdo group of friends and some others.

"What happened Bakugo? Are you okay?" Sero questioned as he hesitantly places a hand on my shoulder; I made no efforts to move it.

"Y-yeah Kacchan. What happened? Did, did you get into a fight?" Deku asked. I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"No dipshit, Ei fucking r-" I started, only to cut myself off and tense my neck as I almost gave that fuckin shit away.

Why the fuck would I even think of telling them? They'll think I had it coming and will just leave me. I can't tell them what happened. I only have Ei that cares for me, he was right. They are probably just faking it since I'm dating him.

"What did Kirishima do Bakugo" I heard Todoroki question as he made his way to the front of the group and knelt in front of my desk. I shook my head and looked to the front of class.

"He didn't do anything. We were sparring and he got a punch in on me. That's all that happened, don't fuckin worry about me" I huffed out as I watched Ei walk in.

I tensed up when he glared at me, I can only assume it's cause Todoroki is right at my desk and there's a group around us. Apparently me tensing up didn't go unnoticed by everyone, mainly my idiotic friends and Icyhot. Everyone else either didn't see it or didn't care. They probably don't care, who would honestly?

The group was ushered to their seats when the caterpillar of a teacher crawled in and we started our lesson. I could tell I was getting suspicious stares every once in a while, but whenever I looked at them they would either look away or look at Ei.

By the time class was over I could see my group talking quietly to Todoroki, with him nodding then walking over to me.

"Bakugo, can we talk in private?" He asked as he stood beside my desk.

I looked over at Ei and his brows were furrowed with a big frown. He narrowed his eyes and shook his head at me. I looked back at Todoroki and gulped, trying to make sure my voice doesn't waver.

"Um, no. I don't really have time. I-I have things I have to do after class" I spoke quietly, trying to make it so only he hears me.

"What do you have to do Bakugo? It won't even take five minutes" Todoroki said back, trying to get me to agree. I really wanted to, but I can't. I really need to find a way to get them to help me without him knowing.

"I-I have homework and I have to meet up with Ei after school. He, he wanted to talk about something" I said shakily, looking away from him and staring at my desk.

I heard loud footsteps and when I looked to who they belonged to I was being dragged out of the class by Ei. I looked around the class with wide eyes, trying to ask anybody for help without having to speak. My group looked at my with concern and confusion and Todoroki was holding his hand out while he took a few baby steps.

The only thing racing through my mind is that I'm gonna get raped again, so before the doors get slammed closed I mouth out a small 'help me.'

    Todoroki POV

Bakugo was dragged out of the class by Kirishima, and his eyes were pleading for help. When I turned to his group I could tell they were suspicious. So I walked over to them and grabbed Midoriya so he could help with what I'm planning on doing.
