You Don't Have To Face It Alone [Abused!BakugoxTodoroki]

Twenty Two- Explanation

    3rd POV

Todoroki stopped swinging but wasn't able to stop his quirk(s?) in time, and Kirishima kept his hardened hand swinging. Todoroki moves his head a little in Bakugo's direction, watching as he was about to run in front of the two. He wasn't able to react quick enough and Kirishima didn't seem to care who he'd be hitting. Todoroki managed to stop his ice, but since he's barely trained his fire he couldn't stop it.

Kirishima swung and Todoroki heard Bakugo yelling, not being able to make it out as Todoroki watched Bakugo use himself as a shield for him. He got a hardened right hook to the face and Todoroki could hear something crack. He fell back onto Todoroki and Kirishima only paused for a second before hardening his whole body again. Bakugo's face was starting to heavily bleed and he was barely conscious, and Sero was only a few feet away.

Todoroki made a thick ice wall to block Kirishima when he started charging them, and quickly yet carefully handed Bakugo to Sero.

"Get him away from here. And get Aizawa. NOW!" Todoroki yelled the last word as he got back into a fighting stance, seeing as Kirishima broke through the rest of the ice wall.

Sero nodded and carried Bakigo closely to his chest while he ran away from the training grounds. Kirishima eyes the two and was about to run after them until Todoroki spoke up to keep him there.

"Don't forget the deal" Todoroki said quickly as he sent ice on the ground to shoot Kirishima into the air.

Once Kirishima landed, the ground had a small crater in it since he had himself hardened. Kirishima stood up without hesitation and ran at Todoroki, but Todoroki stopped using his quirk when he saw Kirishima's hardening disappear. Todoroki turned and saw Aizawa running towards them with his hair and scarf standing and his eyes glowing red. He was relieved until he saw Sero still holding Bakugo, and his face was bandaged slightly, but the blood was sleeping through the guaze.

"Todoroki! Behind you!" Sero yelled with wide eyes. Before he could turn around he was tackled and pinned to the ground, getting repeatedly punched in the face by Kirishima.

Todoroki put his hands on Kirishima's chest and used both his fire and ice, shooting him back far enough away from himself where Aizawa would get here before anything else happened.

Though it struck Todoroki at that moment that neither of them won the match, so the only way to get Bakugo away from Kirishima is to tell Aizawa, though Bakugo might not like it. It had to be done.

Aizawa looked at Todoroki quickly as he ran passed him to Kirishima, his scarf trapping him in the air. Once he had the scarf around Kirishima right enough where he couldn't escape, he walked back to Todoroki and Sero.

"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't expel all of you right now" Aizawa said sternly with a hard glare. Todoroki could tell Sero woke him up from his sleep.

"Can we talk about that inside once Bakugo's been properly taken care of?" Todoroki asked as he wiped the blood from his lip.

"You should be more worried about yourself, but fine. But it better be good, cause I was in the middle of my dream. I didn't have to teach you brats and I worked at a cat adoption center" Aizawa said tiredly with a yawn as he started walking only to stop steps later. "Forget I said that" he said quickly as he started walking again.

Kirishima was catching his breath and grunting as he struggled in the scarf, but Aizawa only tightened it more. The only real injuries Kirishima received were burn marks and some ice burns, whereas Todoroki's lip was busted and his ear had a few drops of blood. Bakugo unfortunately got hit by Kirishima's hardened hand at full force, so his nose was busted and so was his lip, with cuts and scratches covering the middle of his face. Nothing that Recovery Girl couldn't fix luckily.

The three of them walked back to the dorms, with Sero carrying Bakugo and Kirishima being dragged by Aizawa. Once they reached the dorms Aizawa sent everyone back to their dorms and Sero gently placed Bakugo on one of the couches. Aizawa called Recovery Girl to get her over there while Todoroki walked over to bakigo and squatted down beside him.

"You're gonna be fine now. I'm gonna get you away from him tonight" Todoroki whispered as he calmly stroked his fingers through Bakugo's hair. It seemed to calm Todoroki down, and though he was unconscious Bakugo was leaning his head to press the top of his head onto Todoroki's palm.

Recovery Girl arrived not even ten minutes later, walking over to Bakugo first and stretching her lips to kiss Bakugo's cheek, the spot glowing a bright green once her lips made contact. Bakugo squirmed slightly, but that was just from the healing effect and his stamina running a little lower. Then she side stepped to Todoroki and kissed his cheek, the same glowing effect happening in his cheek and then the bleeding stopped. Finally she walked to Kirishima and kissed his cheek, then took her syringe-looking cane and kicked him in the leg.

"Don't think I haven't heard about what you've done young man. I must say I'm disappointed in you, I expected better" Recovery Girl said with a frown, then nodded to Aizawa and left the dorms.

Aizawa carefully let go of Kirishima, keeping a close eye on all his movements. Todoroki moves Bakugo slightly back in the couch so he could sit down and let Bakugo rest his head in Todoroki's lap. Once he was sitting he started running his fingers through his hair again, lightly rubbing the top of his head.

"I'd appreciate it if you don't touch my boyfriend" Kirishima spat out, but Todoroki made no acknowledgement to him and placed his free hand on Bakugo's bicep, lightly holding it. "Hey!" Kirishima yelled, which was quickly silenced by Aizawa.

"Todoroki, you better have a good reason as to why I'm awake right now" Aizawa said as he ran a hand down his face, stretching his jaw down a bit and rubbing his chin. Todoroki looked down at Bakugo and took a deep breath while closing his eyes, then opened them and looked up at Aizawa.

"Mr. Aizawa, I'll start off by saying I'm sorry you were woken up, but after Bakugo got hurt I couldn't focus on him and Kirishima at the same time. But the reason we were fighting is because I got overly angry at Kirishima for what he's been doing to Bakugo for the past week or so" Todoroki said calmly while he let his gaze fall to the sleeping blonde in his lap. He looked peaceful and relaxed, even with all the guaze and whip marks covering his body.

"What he been doing. Kirishima I don't want to hear from you" Aizawa said before giving Kirishima a chance to speak.

"As you probably know the two are in a relationship. But what you don't know is that Kirishima abuses Bakugo. I've walked in on him kicking Bakugo in the stomach while Bakugo was curled up in a ball on the ground. And earlier tonight Sero brought him to my room and he was and still is covered in whip marks from Kirishima's belt" Todoroki said with anger returning to his eyes, his voice starting to get gravely as he remembered the gruesome sight of the reds and purples and blood marks covering Bakugo's entire upper body.

"Sero, is this true?" Aizawa asked as he turned to said boy. Sero just sadly nodded and Aizawa turned to look at Bakugo. "May I see the marks" he asked cautiously and calmly as he slowly walked to the two.

Todoroki nodded and carefully lifted up the blonde's sleeves and a bit of the bottom of his shirt. Todoroki pulled his hands back when Bakugo flinched in pain, but Aizawa was still able to see the dark marks from the belt buckle. 

"Eijiro Kirishima, I am utterly displeased in your behavior. You can be sure that your parents will hear about these actions and there will be a hearing for your expulsion. Todoroki, keep Bakugo in your dorm with you tonight, watch him and take care of him. But also take care of yourself. Sero, don't tell anyone even if they ask, they won't need to know until everything is set in place. Kirishima, I suggest you go to your dorm and start packing your things" Aizawa said giving directions to each student. They all nodded slowly, Kirishima upset and distressed with his current situation.

Todoroki lifted Bakugo's head off his lap so he could stand, then bridal carried Bakugo to the elevator, making sure he didn't get in the same time as Kirishima. Todoroki and Sero took the elevator up and Sero helped open Todoroki's door for him, then said goodbye and left for his room.
