You Don't Have To Face It Alone [Abused!BakugoxTodoroki]

Twenty One- The Fight

    3rd POV

Todoroki took the elevator to the fourth floor, anger overtaking him.

How could he let this go this far? Why didn't he get Bakugo away from him sooner? Why did it take this much to get him so upset? Why hasn't he interfered again until now?

Todoroki thought while he impatiently tapped his foot against the elevator floor. Once the doors opened he stormed out of them and ran up to Kirishima's dorm door. He pounded on it multiple times, waiting for an answer. When that answer never came he got even angrier and went to Bakugo's door.

He knocked a bit softer this time and waited, for any kind of movement. The door knob shifted and it opened revealing Kirishima, which only got Todoroki even more enraged.

Was he just gonna wait in Bakugo's room until he returned?

Todoroki glared down at Kirishima, who was looking back at him with fake confusion.

"Come with me" Todoroki spat out as he harshly gripped Kirishima's wrist and dragged him out of Bakugo's room.

"What's your problem? Let go of me!" Kirishima shouted as he tried to pry his hand out of Todoroki's iron hard grip. That only got Todoroki to flame up and burn Kirishima's wrist. "The hell is your problem?! Stop burning me!" Kirishima shouted as he semi-hardened his hand.

"You know what the hell my problem is. And we're gonna go sort it out" Todoroki snapped his head back at Kirishima after he hit the button for the elevator, and Kirishima looked confused before he gave him a devious smirk.

"Winner gets Bakugo. No complaints" Kirishima bargained.

Todoroki stayed silent, thinking of all the ways this could go wrong. He knew he shouldn't agree, but if he didn't than Kirishima would still be in Bakugo's life. So he took a chance.

"Deal" Todoroki said as he side-eyed Kirishima. "What about you? Is it a deal?" Todoroki questioned as he stared Kirishima down.

"I wouldn't make it up if I didn't agree to it" Kirishima said as they reached the ground floor.

"You better mean it" Todoroki said as he dragged Kirishima to the training ground.

Todoroki let go of Kirishima's wrist and they stood on separate sides of the training grounds. They both agreed on a minute of stretching beforehand, so they were in the middle of that. Once they finished they got in their fighting stance and waited for the other to make a move.

When neither of them did, Kirishima charged at Todoroki and Todoroki retaliated by sending a hunk of ice at him. Kirishima punched through it with a hardened fist and jumped over the other pieces of ice that were being flown at him. He approached Todoroki and just as he was about to throw a punch on him, Todoroki ducked under it and lifted his left hand up, grabbing Kirishima's shoulder and setting it ablaze.

Kirishima hardened his arm in time, but wasn't able to react quick enough when he was launched over Todoroki's shoulder. He landed with a hard thud but got up once he heard Todoroki chuckle. Todoroki sent flames directly at Kirishima, who hardened his entire body and ran through the flames, landing a punch to Todoroki's gut unexpectedly. Todoroki fell back with a grunt, holding and gripping his stomach tightly and gritting his teeth.

He stood back up and made an ice layer around himself to keep Kirishima away until he stood back up. Once he was standing he placed his left hand on the ice and melted it, immediately shooting ice in every direction, not knowing where Kirishima was. He could he a grunt that was close to a scream, and when he turned he saw Kirishima trapped in the ice, slowly breaking through it.

Todoroki was getting tired of the drawn out fight, and he could tell Kirishima was too.

"This ends now" Kirishima growled as he got into his Unbreakable form.

"I agree" Todoroki said as he let his left side flare up and he made ice on his right half.

The two charged at each other, Kirishima winding his fist back while Todoroki enlarged his flames and started running on ice. The two of them caught a glimpse of something out of the corner of their eyes, and barely had enough time to react.

Kirishima got out of his Unbreakable form, but his whole body was still hardened and his fist was still back. Todoroki lowered his flames and stopped making ice to run on, but made sure they were both still active. They were determined to get their punches in at each other, and started to swing and throw ice and fire at each other.

"Bakugo! Get out of there!" Todoroki could barely hear Sero shout.

This is a cliffhanger right? I hope so. It's short but oh well. I wanted to write the fight and add some drama/angst. So yeah....
