It had been six days, four hours and seventeen minutes since Y/N had spoken to Levi. It had been four days, seven hours and three minutes since she had looked him in the eye. It had been a week since Y/N Bodt had kissed her Captain.
Not that he was counting or anything.
The six days, four hours and seventeen minutes had been hell. Not a single word spoken between the pair, and Levi was beginning to feel it. He expected it at first, that Y/N wouldn't talk to him for a while, but he never knew it would last so long.
Maybe it was how guilty she felt. Every day since the kiss, Y/N had torn herself apart a little more. She had a boyfriend. A good one. They did couple things, they kissed, the hugged, they fucked. But nothing was the same.
After two days of getting everyone else to see Levi for her, Hanji Zoë had began to suspect something. They were normally together as much as they could be, but the drought had continued.
After four days, however, of completely avoiding her Captain, Y/N had been figured out. Hanji had tried to be sensitive, she really had. But it didn't go as well as she hoped.
"Y/N, could you come over here for a minute?" The commander had called, beckoning the Scout over.
She excused herself, walking over. "Yeah?"
"I have something to ask you."
Y/N nodded, prompting Hanji to go on.
"Could you take these to Levi?"
"Sorry, busy. Mikasa can." Y/N mumbled, trying to walk away.
"Knew it." Hanji laughed.
The Bodt girl turned back around, raising a brow. "Knew what?"
"You.... You did it didn't you?"
"Did what?"
"You slept with Levi didn't you. That's why you're avoiding him."
Y/N almost chocked on thin air, hushing Hanji to quiet herself. "No! I most definitely did not! Who in the hell told you that?"
Hanji rolled her eyes. "I can tell, Y/N. You're avoiding him, being overly...lovey with Eren and you won't even look his way. I'm asking as a friend here, did you sleep with him?"
Y/N took a deep breath, the floor suddenly becoming interesting. "No."
"Then what happened? Please, I mean this less of a Commander and more of a friend, to both of you. I don't like the energy it gives. It's like everyone's.... tense."
