Chapter 15

Grace: Right when we do something too.

Y/N: It's fine. Let's go.

We sat down in the briefing room and Y/N had an arm around me. Six shot us a quick smile and started briefing.

Six: This is an undercover mission. You'll be going into a skyscraper with no weapons to get information. There will be Chinese Army on site, if you are comprised, get out. They will try to kill you. Storm, here's the file. Everyone, wear something professional to make you look like a client.

We all left and got dressed. I left the dorm and was informed we were being flown on a plane to avoid suspicion.

Storm POV

I saw Grace leave our dorm and we all walked to our plane. It took off and I started reading the file.

Storm: Ok, so if we get compromised, we're pretty much screwed unless we manage to take down the Chinese Army and get their weapons. We need to meet with a security company and get on good terms with them.

Dokkaebi: Hopefully it's not too hard.

Ela: Shouldn't be. Do we use nicknames? I feel like if we call you Storm it will definitely compromise us.

Storm: Let me ask Six about that.

I grabbed my radio and contacted Six.

Storm: Do we use nicknames or real names?

Six: I guess the only thing you can use would be real names, but that compromises your families safety. Make up fake names.

Storm: Got it.

We made up names for each other and soon landed. We got to the building and went to the correct floor. We sat down in the meeting room with the HVT and two armed guards with him. We had the meeting, but near the end the HVT said something that caught us all off guard.

HVT: What's Team Rainbow like?

The guards rose their guns at us and the HVT left the room. I took down one guard while Lucas took down the other.

Storm: Six, we've been compromised. Two guards down.

Six: Evac is on the way. Hold tight.

We left the room to try and get back to the elevator, but more guards started coming. Lucas and I killed four of them and Siu, Ela, and Grace all picked their guns up. We fought through the guards and found three people who looked like Americans.

???: Recker! Contact!

They trained their guns on us and we laid them down.

Storm: We are Team Rainbow Six.

???: U.S. Marines. I'm Irish.

???: I'm Recker.

???: I'm Dunn.

Storm: Major Y/N "Storm" L/N. U.S. Army.

Recker: Good to meet you, Major. I admire your work.

Storm: Let's talk later. Currently, we need to get out of here alive.

Recker: We're going to the roof to extract our target.

Storm: We're going to the roof for evac.

Recker: Hop on our helo.

Storm: Six, cancel Evac. U.S. Marine Corps is on site.

Six: Got it. Return to their base and notify me of your location as soon as possible.

Storm: Got it.

Recker: Let's go.

We followed behind the Marines and we all cleared our way to the roof. It was a warzone, we were outnumbered, but we have more skill so we overpowered the Chinese Army. The Marines Evac arrived and we got on board with them.
