My bully// Luke Hemmings

~Chapter 40~

Sarah's pov:

We arrived back in Sydney, and we were jet lagged. It was about 6 when we got back, and it was about 12 back in Canada, well I think it was. I'm terrible at time zones and all that shit.

"Come here and cuddle with me." Luke demanded and I walked over to him on the couch. He wrapped his arm around me and put his head in the crook of my neck.

"What do you want to do tomorrow?" I asked him and I felt his hot breath against my neck, which tickled for a bit.

"I dunno. Maybe practise with the band. We got a- we still need a drummer." He corrected himself. Did they get a drummer? If they did, why did he correct himself? My mind was now racing with a whole bunch of questions, he could be lying to me, but I don't know. Luke is a pretty good liar.
But why would he lie to me about a drummer?

Luke's pov:

I can tell by the awkward silence that she was probably onto my lie. I thought about telling her, and I even asked the guys if I should, but they all agreed with me. She might not want him in the band because he is her ex, and she thinks that we hate each other, but he is really fucking good at it, so we can't just kick him out, it's for the bands sake. I know that she will find out soon, but it's no big deal. Really, I just hope that no more shit happens between Sarah and Ashton because then I might actually have second thoughts about adding him into the band.

"What are you thinking about?" I asked her and she sighed.

"Nothing important. I was just thinking of what I can do tomorrow. Maybe I'll go to Samantha's." She replied and I knew she was lying when she said "nothing important." I nodded and she faced me.

"When do you guys think you'll have a drummer?" She asked and i shrugged.

"We're hoping to have auditions soon." I lied, "like around this weekend or next." She nodded and placed her head on my chest.

Shortly after, she fell asleep, still jet-lagged and I texted the guys. I told them not to tell Sarah about Ashton making it into the band yet because she could jeopardize us. They agreed but told me that I should tell her soon.

Sarah went to Samantha's house, and the guys and I met up. We began to decide what names we should do, until Michael thought of a really good one "5 seconds of summer" i said while nodding, "i quite like it."

"Thanks to meee!" Michael shouted from the kitchen.

"We should do a cover today." Cal suggested and we all nodded.

Michael came out with a bowl of chips with dip next to it and placed it down on the table.

After we did a cover of "teenage dream" and uploaded it to youtube, we sat down and got to know each other.

I never knew that Ashton only had lived with his mum, younger sister and brother, and he felt like that he was the "man of the house" ever since his dad left when he was younger.

After about being inside for an hour, we all decided to go get pizza. We walked to the pizzeria down on the corner of the street and sat down at a table.

After 30 minutes, we finished the pizza and walked back the the house and got three guitars and something Ashton could drum with. We all tweeted that if you live in Sydney, come to the park and we gave them the address. We were gonna play out in public, in the park, and try and get more recognized.

We set up on a paved area and saw a few fans crowd us. Before we even got to play one song, they all were taking pictures and screaming at us. "5SOS!" A girl yelled and I smiled. This was real.
