Chloe arrived home and immediately headed for her room. For once, her mom was actually home cooking dinner.

"Chloe, I'm making pot roast tonight. You sure you don't want any?" her mom asked with a concerned expression.

"I'm sorry, save some for me in the fridge?" Chloe told her, feeling bad for all the trouble her mom went through to make an entire meal.

"I will," she replied. "And Chlo, if you need to talk about it, you know I'm here for you."

Chloe smiled at her mother before heading up stairs.

"It's fine, mom. Really."

Her mother smiled back at her as she went back to the oven to check on the roast.

Chloe threw herself on her bed. Again, she had forgotten her laptop was there. This time, however, Chloe just laid on top of it, still trying to hold back the tears. Suddenly, she felt herself drifting to sleep.

"Liam?"

It was dark. Chloe was trying to feel her way around her dark bedroom. She had fallen asleep well into the night, but woke up at about midnight. Her stomach began to growl.

"Mom?" she shouted.

Chloe tripped over a book that was lying on the floor, but quickly picked herself up.

"Mom?"

She saw a light switch flip on in the hallway outside of her door, which allowed her to see. The light crept through the bottom of her door, just enough for Chloe to find it. She turned the handle and pushed it open.

"...Liam?"

"Oh, hey Chloe," Liam replied. He was standing in the hallway, holding his girlfriend close to him.

"I didn't think you were here," Liam said.

"Um...well, this IS my house." Chloe explained, staring at the couple with a puzzled expression.

"Shall we continue?" Liam said to his girlfriend, moving closer to her. Before she could speak, Liam planted a big kiss on her smooth lips. Chloe's eyes widened. She was speechless. The couple continued kissing for the next few minutes before Chloe could finally snap out of it.

"Hey, Liam?" she said. He ignored her. "Liam?"

Still, nothing.

"Liam!!!"

Chloe was covered in sweat. She sat up in her bed, looking around her room, trying to find her clock. The sun was still setting, and the clock read, "7:09".

Chloe wiped the sweat from her brow, and quickly grabbed her cellphone. She opened up her contacts and went straight to Liam.

"Hey...do you wanna hang out this weekend?" Chloe typed into her phone, pressing send immediately. Her stomach instantly filled with butterflies as she anxiously waited for Liam's reply. Luckily, he began typing only a few minutes after Chloe had sent the text.

"Sure! Wizard Battle at my place?" he said.

Chloe sighed, remembering the terrible dream she just had, and began replying to Liam.

"Yes! What time, I'll be there."

"How about...one o'clock? On Sunday?" Liam asked.

Chloe grinned as she typed her next message.

"That's great. I'll see you then. Just give me your address."

Liam sent Chloe his address and she replied with a simple smiley face. Eager for Sunday to arrive and excitement filling her heart, she grabbed her laptop and messaged Sandy about everything that had happened so far. As usual, Sandy was online and got back to her friend immediately. Through video call, of course.
