MINGI.

— ### —

Mingi didn't started his search for his ex yet although he did stayed away from San because of how he was pissed off about what happened. It is already a week after the party and the day he asked his best friend to help him find the boy on the deck and again, Mingi felt lonely. Nothing's there but him and the silent wind that brushes the trees outside his house, knocking his doors every now and then, making some soft sounds that makes cats purr. Mingi didn't know how to start without his best friend but he held his pride up high like he always do.

He was washing the dishes when someone knocked on his door. Mingi stumbled towards the front yard to see who it is and saw Seonghwa was standing outside with his hands on his pockets and is looking around to pay his time from waiting for the latter to come out.

Mingi opened the door, greeting the older with a nervous smile that made Seonghwa chuckle, "Stiff as ever," He said and went inside the house.

Although he was confused, the taller watched Seonghwa sit on his couch and wait for him to sit as well, "Why are you here?" Mingi asked.

Seonghwa isn't the type to circle around and cut to the chase immediately, smiling at the latter who looks curioused and stressed.

"I asked my friend– Jongho, about that boy I met last time," Seonghwa said and fixed the red summer glasses he's wearing.

Actually, it doesn't make sense because he is wearing a heart-shaped red summer glass but it is almost winter. The breeze is already making the taller shudder even in the morning so it looks funny for him to see Seonghwa wearing summer glasses at this season but Mingi brushed that thought and focused on the thing Seonghwa was talking about, finally realizing who the older was pertaining to.

"The guy I met, that Yunho, was Jung Yunho– he has a boyfriend, apparently... that small black-haired guy that giggles like a highschool girl at every joke his friends says..." Seonghwa's lips arched as he remember Wooyoung from the party, "He's annoying, to be honest."

Mingi shook his head when Seonghwa scoffed, "So?" He asked and the older just laughed– shaking his head as well because the taller didn't understood him.

"You are smart but not smart enough," Seonghwa said honestly that made Mingi frown, "I'm trying to help you. Heard from San that that Yunho guy is really important for you."

Seonghwa smiled– a smile Mingi hasn't seen at the mean time they met each other. It looks warm, and pretty, it looked like it is longing as well for something but Mingi didn't want to ask. Not that he didn't care but it wasn't his business to ask for other people's lives. Even if it is his best friend's boyfriend.

The smile faded and Seonghwa coughed awkwardly, his eyes still tells that sadness he'd keeping and it made Mingi curious even more so he finally asked, all ears listening to the older's story– feeling bad for asking something so personal from him.

"I lost someone, too," Seonghwa started, looking away from Mingi and from everything from his sight– he tried to avoid everything, "He was so beautiful, and kind... he was all before I met San. That is why I liked San, he has that sense from my ex that just... clicks? It feels like he's still here whenever I'm with San."

It's not like Seonghwa doesn't love San but his heart was just split apart with the man he loved and the man he loves. The faint memories and the marks of happiness and once-paradise for Seonghwa was still lingering on his mind like a tattoo that doesn't get off. It was permanently there, it doesn't go away. The love, the pain, the sadness– it was all like how Mingi felt within that span of months missing Yunho but in Seonghwa's case, he endured it much longer. Longer than he can imagine, longer than he can actually feel, longer than how who-knows thinks he can.
