MINGI.
— ### —He never saw Yunho again. Mingi had his mind occupied with so many things, got busy with his school and hung out with San and Seonghwa many times. Sometimes, he sees himself drinking beer on the roof of his house, or in the usual deck by the sea. Mingi sleeps well often these days as well, and San is still wondering why. The orange-head seem to be calm and very approachable than the last months where he had been moping around for a certain boy. Sometimes, Mingi still asks himself how in love was his for Jung Yunho– or if he still loves the latter.
School hours just ended and Seonghwa invited him to go to the sea with San. San is excited to see his lover while Mingi isn't on the mood to do anything. His day was exhausting. They had boring classes but it only made the day more unbearable and he just wanted to lay on his bed and sleep, maybe not wake up until the next day. He's just out of the Earth as of the moment, and his mind is flying somewhere else.
An 'Earth to Mingi' woke him up from his daydream, and saw San glaring at him, smoking a cigarette he didn't notice earlier. Mingi asked why with his eyes and Seonghwa chuckled beside his boyfriend, "Why are you so out of yourself today?" He asked.
"What are you thinking?" San asked, hands intertwined with the older blonde while still smoking.
Mingi shook his head, refusing to answer but Seonghwa didn't take anything as no so the youngest doesn't have a choice but to answer. Mingi smiled sheepishly, "I want to know if he's fine. I mean, he hasn't been in my mind lately... I just wondered."
San laughs silently, "You're clearly moving on, you dumbass." He said. "Which is a pretty good sign. Just date girls– or boys, if that's what you really prefer. You know, I don't care. Just get over that Jung Yunho."
Seonghwa chuckles, smacking San's nape while shaking his head. He scolds the younger for being blunt to his best friend and told Mingi that he wants to talk to him alone. San didn't mind, though, so Seonghwa said that they will be speaking to each other later when they get home.
Mingi is walking by the sidewalk, behind from the love-birds in front that is busy flirting with each other. He smiles to himself, remembering how he used to be just like San before and shakes his head. Maybe he really is moving on, because his own mind is pushing off these thoughts– as if it is refusing to let his emotions bring his guard down. He feels strong with all what's happening to himself and the things he is currently feeling. All of it feels so different, now that he realized that maybe he really didn't need a Jung Yunho in his fucked life.
San entered his house, kissing his lover goodbye before Seonghwa turned around to face Mingi. Mingi smiled, and walked with him. They went straight to Mingi's place while the older blonde talks some things he didn't know. "Do you remember that small guy with Yunho before?" He asked and Mingi knew who he was talking about.
"What about him?" He asks.
"He was the one who forgot me." The older smirks, reminding himself not to be emotional in front of Mingi.
Mingi stops his tracks and faced the older with questions in his eyes. The honesty in Seonghwa's eyes hurts for the orange-head to sea that he turned away and continued walking again. He didn't answer back, and let Seonghwa talk beside him. He just listened to the pain behind every words Seonghwa is spitting– to the story he didn't know he would be hearing. Honestly, Mingi doesn't know if San already heard this story from Seonghwa before. He doesn't want to interupt the older from speaking, and they just continued walking.
"I don't know if he really forgot me. But when I saw him again on the party last time, he doesn't even laid those lovely eyes on me like he used to." Seonghwa said it silently, almost a whisper that Mingi wasn't able to understand most of it. "One day, he walked out of my door. He told me that he will be back, but he never returned. And the next thing I knew, he doesn't remember me anymore."
Mingi opened the gate of his house and let Seonghwa come in. The older sat on the couch, and Mingi still can't find any words to say. He's stucked with the same question all over again. How much does it hurt?
"We used to be beautiful. We partied, and we were wild. We had memories but I guess that wasn't enough." The older sighed, "Maybe he saw someone else worth loving more than me. I just wish he told me..."
"What was his name again?" Mingi asked, this time he is sitting in front of Seonghwa on the other side of the room.
The older smiled, "Kim Hongjoong."

Mingi had his research. It wasn't much but he wishes that it can at least help Seonghwa a little bit. He knew that doing this, he might see Yunho again but it doesn't matter. His main reason to visit Yunho's place is to ask whatever he can ask about Hongjoong and have information for his friend. The fact that Seonghwa is hurting, might be just a phase to make San a rebound. Mingi doesn't want his best friend to hurt just because Seonghwa is in love or was in love with someone else.
But maybe this was a bad idea.
The cafe is almost out. Customers are draining and the time is running so fast. It is already 5 PM, but the lights outside are already turned on. There were also people rushing to get home, and workers that is rushing orders from the counter. Mingi sits there silently, waiting for someone to pass by– hoping it is Yunho deep inside.
The chimes rang loud, making Mingi to snap his head towards the door and saw a familiar face. He's right, Hongjoong will be in the place every Friday. His researches wasn't a waste of time, then. Mingi stood up to approach the older but stepped back when he saw Yunho sat in front of Hongjoong. Oh, he thought.
Mingi went back to the table were he sat earlier, silently finishing what he ordered before the two went inside the place. He watches Yunho laugh, smile, and talk– and it felt so good. He felt so great having to watch Yunho like this from afar. Mingi doesn't wish for them to have an eye contact, but at least he wishes for Yunho to notice him there. Suddenly, Mingi can't seem to remember why he came all the way here in this place as soon as he laid his eyes to Yunho.
Soon, they were off and he watched them go. Mingi was supposed to talk to Hongjoong but something about Yunho stopped him. He thought he is strong enough already, but he thought wrong. Because he felt like he fell in love with Jung Yunho, and it made him weak again.
