ANOTHER START

YUNHO.

Winter has ended and yet the cold breeze of the season still lingers on everyone's skin. A new start began and everyone looks so ready to try new different things set in front of them. Some cafes re-opened and some parks are re-decorated, it is a start of a new life and it is also a start of a new year for everyone.

After the fireworks began last night, Yunho had been really uneasy as if he is missing something inside him. His boyfriend, Wooyoung, in the other hand, doesn't feel different and weird like the taller does. The four of them waited and watched the new year start, and went to their own houses to celebrate it with their families. It is a new start for Yunho; but he still felt that he is missing something and he can't tell what it was.

He wore his usual attire– a striped yellow and white shirt, and a green shorts. He also wore a beanie to cover his messy hair as he just woke up from staying up all night. Yunho greets his mother a happy new year but his father didn't even looked back at him. After the night of their argument, Yunho's father stopped talking at him like he doesn't exists in the household with them. He barely even give Yunho a smile unless there are visitors in the house. The male became a ghost in his father's eyes.

But if that's how things will be, Yunho doesn't bother to argue more with his father because at the end of the day, Yunho will always be the one who will lose their fight. And besides, his mother already talked down his husband about that thing. It's just that, Yunho's father doesn't want to talk anymore with his son. He doesn't want to sound like a broken record and tell him that he is just protecting his only son from hurting.

"Wooyoung!" Yunho called and his boyfriend turned around, smiling widely at him with beaming eyes.

"Hi! I missed you!" Wooyoung tuckled the taller in a tight hug, before facing their friends again.

Hongjoong and Yeosang rolled their eyes though they are all used at how the couple acts in front of them. Hongjoong pulled Yunho away from Wooyoung to stop the smaller from cuddling the older too much, and they began to walk onto the re-opened cafe near where they all met up.

The four of them planned to just be with each for the new start of the year and all of them are fine with it. It is also an opportunity to try something new or what-ever with his friends so Yunho doesn't really care about it anymore.

As they walk onto the cafe, Hongjoong noticed a blonde male seated inside and he stopped for a moment to familiarize who it was. Yeosang noticed it and followed where the older is staring and saw San's boyfriend– Seonghwa. The younger looked back at Hongjoong with so much confusion in his eyes as the latter hesitates to step closer on the cafe they wanted to go.

"Hongjoong–"

"Yunho, hurry! I heard the strawberry cake tastes nice!" Wooyoung pulled his boyfriend towards the cafe and searched for a place to sit.

Yeosang forgot what he was about to ask when Hongjoong followed the couple uncomfortably. He shrugs his shoulders and let go of his questions as he followed the others inside.

When Wooyoung and Yunho ordered for them, Yeosang noticed how the oldest kept on looking at the blonde boy seated not to far from them. He also notice how Hongjoong's eyes is just nailed onto the boy who's busy with his own stuffs at the moment. Yeosang's mind began to question again but he decides it is not his position to ask because Hongjoong never brought up anything about that blonde before.

The blonde– Seonghwa –is eating alone, silently tapping the table with his fingers and reads an old book he saw at Mingi's house the other night. His eyes would wander sometimes outside the store, or inside, as he slightly observes the surroundings. It is one fine day. The mood to just sit around with a coffee in your hands, listen to some calming music with your lover in the other hand. It is the mood to smile– if Seonghwa just doesn't think about so many things today.

Yeosang stared at Hongjoong just until the couple came back with their orders. Yunho and Wooyoung are sweetly talking with each other, ignoring the fact that there are two other people on the table with them. Hongjoong, who's very distracted, would sometimes glance towards the blonde in the other table. To be honest, the older is hoping that Seonghwa notices him but deep inside, he also doesn't want it. The past shall be forgotten, and that's just how life is.

"Joong!" Wooyoung threw a tissue on the older, "You're so distracted. What is happening?" He asked but the older shrugged and smiled nervously.

"You are bad at acting. Please don't try to act in the near future." Yeosang said, shaking his head as he sips his order earlier.

"Nothing, really." Hongjoong said, "I just remembered a friend... and he might be in pain right now." He smiles and took a glance at Yeosang.

Yeosang raises his eyebrow as if to say that Hongjoong should tell him what is happening once the couple goes off. And as much as Hongjoong wants to hide for himself, he knew he can't say no to his best friend. In fact, Yeosang is just helping with everything that he knew he cannot hide any secrets from him at this point.

Yunho noticed how the oldest of them kept glancing towards the other table and when he followed the stares, he saw Seonghwa– with a tall person that just got inside. His orange hair stood out from all the customers and his smile just shone brightly around. The male doesn't seem to notice the Yunho is here in the same place and he looks happy. The older didn't want to ruin Mingi's happiness that he tried to not look back at the table again but he can't. Something's telling him to talk with the latter.

His hearts beats faster than usual for a person his mind barely knew. Yunho and his doubts started to run in his nerves again that even Wooyoung noticed it by now. The smaller looked around and saw the cause so he stood up, "Yunho, c'mon. Let's go home." He said and smiled genuinely.

Of course. Wooyoung had to do something before Yunho loses his mind (or heart at this point) for someone else. The smaller male can't live with that thought so he just dragged the other two along them.

filler, short chapter?? oh and also, i just really want to put seongjoong in the story so i tried to come up with a reason to just put them here hehehe
