Baby Holmes

Pre school

After her guest left, Charlie went up stairs to see if Chloe was sleeping. Upon walking into the room, she saw her lying there, but her eyes were open.

"You got to go to sleep pumpkin. Tomorrow we are going to go and look around for daycares" she chided.

"But I don't want to go to a daycare mommy. I want to stay with you" she whined.

Charlie sighed, and went to sit on her daughter's bed. "I'm sorry little bird, but I don't have a choice. I can't just leave you here all day, and it's good to meet kids your age."

"Ok." she said snuggling up to her mother. "Mom" she whispered

"Yeah hun"

"Do you think my knew family likes me"

"Oh of course they do. Trust me, they love you very much, just like I do" Charlie replied, soothing the little girl.

"Mom"

"Yes hun"

"Will you sing to me?"

Charlie chucked "Yes of course". Cuddling even closer, she started to sing a lullaby she learnt in Russia.

And that was how Andrew found the two, an hour later. Together, curled up with one another sound asleep. Andrew just smiled, and walked out. It was good that his employer had someone now, he thought. Even though she has many friends and family, she often gets lonely in this big house.

The next morning, Charlie woke up, with a little girl on her stomach.

She yawned, then started ticking the little girl "And how did you sleep?"

She squealed "Mommy stop! Please!"
"Ok. Let's get up and dress, then we can have some breakfast" she said letting go of the little girl.

When the two were dressed for the day, they made their way to the kitchen. Charlie was wearing a yellow dress shirt, with black jeans, and Chloe was wearing a blue jumper, with jeans and converse.

"Good morning Ms. Holmes," Andrew said, putting a plate of pancakes in front of Chloe.

"Good morning Andrew"

As Charlie started to read the newspaper, Andrew said "Today you have a meeting with 3 preschools for young Miss. Holmes, then around a two hour break where you are dropping off Chloe at Sherlocks, for some family bonding. You then have a meeting with your team to go over your plans for the next few years regarding your assignments, and then training. I have informed your brother that a security guard will be with Ms Holmes at all times, however at a distance"

"Yes, thank you Andrew." Charlie said.

"Not a problem" Andrew hesitated for a moment.

"Is something wrong Andrew?" Charlie asked looking up with a little bit of concern.

Andrew just smiled. "No nothing. I just think that Chloe is good for you Ms."

Charlie smiles and looks over at her daughter stuffing her face with pancakes. "Yes, I do as well."

Once they were finished breakfast, Charlie got into her lamborghini, after putting Chloe in a car seat beside her.

Before taking off, she said "This is safe right?" gesturing to her daughter seated beside her in the car seat.

"Yep!" was the answer she got from her daughter.

"Alright" she sighed. "Let's go"

As Charlie pulled up to the first pre school, she grimaced. It was a public one, and it didn't look too safe, even with Charlie's standards. She believes she spotted a group of teens, dealing drugs on the corner.
