Third Person POV
Nancy walks out of the CEOs office after requesting for a hiatus. She didn't go into full details of what was going on but he was lind enough to grant her request.
She was going to tell the other members about the decision she made and hopes that they will support her on it.
Nancy knew herself that she wasn't at her best at the moment and that she needed to calm down and fix herself before continuing her promotions.
Unfortunately, the BangtanLand sub-unit comeback scheduled that month would have to be postponed until Nancy comes back from hiatus.
Nancy didn't want to continue the comeback because of her part with JungKook. Although she tried to make it seem like nothing is going on between the 2, there was still obvious awkwardness whenever they were in the same room.
The tears threatened to spill from her eyes as she thought about what happened in the past few weeks. She thinks that maybe a long hiatus was best for her.
As she speed walks around the corner, she accidently bumps into someone.
"Sorry," she mumbles and tries to walk past without lifting her head, not wanting anyone to see her tears.
"Sorry- Nancy? Are you okay?" A familiar voice asked the girl, making her put her head down even more.
"Yeah, I'm fine." She quickly says, not wanting the conversation to go on any longer.
"Come on, talk to me." JungKook lifts Nancy's head up gently, forcing her teary eyes to meet with his eyes filled with worry.
The CEO of MLD entertainment called JungKook over to discuss the postponing of his and Nancy's BangtanLand sub-unit comeback. Luckily for him, her was near the area after his short meeting with his own CEO.
After getting scolded for being reckless by him, JungKook needed to clear his mind for a bit and ended up walking to his favourite park where a lot of good (and bad) memories were made.
It made him think about how he's been treating Nancy, ignoring her most of the time to be with Lisa and not spending time with her.
Thoughts fill his head as he tries to think of a way to fix everything but only could find one solution. But the thing is, JungKook doesn't want to leave Lisa as he worries that she'll be sad or lonely.
Because of this, JungKook decides to take it slow and start of with apologizing to Nancy.
"Is everything okay?" He asks the girl, looking straight into her eyes.
Nancy was captivated for a moment, feeling butterflies in her stomach but soon forced herself to snap out of it and look back down at the floor.
"It's fine. Everythings fine." She lied, wiping the tears that managed to fall.
"Why are you crying?" JungKook asks softly, wanting to comfort her.
"My... My... Dog just passed away so I'm going to visit." Nancy made a quick excuse so she can escape from the conversation.
"Oh, I'm Sorry to hear that. Is there anything I could-" JungKook started off.
"No! No, it's okay. I can manage." She quickly interrupts, "I need to go now. Bye."
Nancy speed walks down the hallway before she turns around the corner out of sight.
JungKook was left there, stunned at the very quick conversation he just had, if you can even can it a conversation.
He couldn't understand what was going on but he hoped he could find some answers.

Time Skip
Even after the meeting with the CEO of MLD, Jungkook still didn't have the answers he was looking for.
He did find out about Nancy's hiatus after being told that their sub-unit comebacl has been postponed and wondering why she hadn't told him about it.
JungKook guessed that it was because her dog died he wanted a certain answer and asked the CEO.
Unfortunately, he only said for personal reasons and didnt say the details, remembering Nancys request to not tell JungKook about it as she knew the boy would be curious.
JungKook thought about this on his way back to the dorms and while he gets ready for Momoland to come visit.
He planned to talk to Nancy privately so he can apologise properly and show that he means it. He hoped she'll accept his apology so he can be able to comfort her through her hiatus.
"Guys! They're here!" Namjoon calls out to them before opening the door.
The 2 groups begin greeting each other while the maknae bows politely to them while looking out for a certain member.
"If you're looking for Nancy, she's not here." AhIn tells him, "She wasn't feeling well So NaYun eonnie stayed with her."
"Thank you." Was all JungKook could say as AhIn walks off over to Jimin.
The girl felt a bit sorry for JungKook although he is clueless so she told him where Nancy was, even though she was a bit mad at him.
He was really looking forward to being able to speak properly to Nancy again but I guess he lost hus chance.
The rest of the visit, JungKook was silent. He tried calling her a few times but is always led to voicemail. He wasn't sure if Nancy was seeing his calls or if she was just sleeping.
JungKook excused himself to his room for the rest of the visit and worried about Nancy. In the middle of his thoughts, JungKook suddenly remembered something Nancy told him when they first started to get close.

Flashback
"So do you have any pets?" JungKook asks Nancy over the loud chatter of their other members.
"No, I wish I did though. I've always wanted a puppy." Nancy answered.
End of flashback

"She doesn't have a dog..." JungKook thought to himself, "So does that mean... She lied to me?"
