Chapter 13

Alex's POV

Perrie hasn't talked to me for days. She hasn't even been to work. As much as I could get out of Leigh-Anne, I know that she hasn't left her apartment. I wish I could go visit her. But her mum is still there, she wouldn't let me.

I miss her so much. We usually see each other every day or every other day. Not seeing her for this long is painful.

"Did you try to call her?" - Matt asks as he sits down with his drink. I'm not even in the mood to get drunk.

"I did. Like a hundred times. But it went straight to voicemail." - I tell him.

"What about her mum? Or Leigh-Anne?"

"Her mum told me not to go there until she decides to talk to me. Leigh-Anne said that she's been feeling down and that's it. I literally begged her to tell me anything, anything, but she said she can't tell me more. I hate this so fucking much. Why are they not letting me see her? I didn't even do anything!"

"I don't know mate.. Actually.. you could talk with Bethany.."

"What am I going to tell her?" - I look at him.

"Well tell her what happened the night the two of them met. Maybe if she goes and explains to Perrie that you two are just friends, Perrie will want to talk to you again" - he explains.

"You know what? That's actually a good idea.. I hope it works.." - I say and take my phone immediately.

I call Bethany and ask her to meet me at one of our favourite cafès. Matt decides to come along since he doesn't want to stay in my house. I change my clothes quickly and off to the cafè we go.

I really hope I'll work things out between me and Perrie. I miss her so much, I can't even explain it. I miss the warmth of her hugs, the passion in her kiss, the contagious sound of her laughter. I miss looking at her bright blue eyes. I miss her beautiful smile. I miss her gorgeous blonde hair. I miss her..

On the other hand, I hope I don't make Bethany upset. If she takes it the wrong way and gets offended, I swear I'll strangle myself. I don't want to hurt my loved ones but lately that's all I've been doing.

"Hii" - Bethany says as she hugs me.

"Hi Beth" - I hug her back a little bit and flash on a slight smile.

She gives Matt a quick hug as well and we all take a seat.

"I ordered you both your favorites" - she smiles.

"Thanks.. uh.." - I start.

"You wanted to talk about something" - she says.

"Yes.. um.." - I start. I start with the night after the dinner. I explain how Perrie felt and how she treated me. I tell her about what's been happening for the last few days.

She was looking at me the whole time. I could notice slight confusion in her expression, which turned into guilt.

"Wow.." - is all she says once I finish.

"Look, don't get me wrong.. but maybe if you talk to her.. you'll do me a huge favour.." - I say.

"I don't think I can do that Alex.. There's something I wanted to tell you.." - she looks away and takes a sip of her tea.

I can see Matt giving her a look and then shaking his head in the corner of my eye. When I turn towards him, he stops immediately and looks away. I stay quiet and give her a nod to tell her that I'm listening.

"I'm sorry Matt, I promised I wouldn't say yet, but I can't hold it in anymore.." - she tells him.

He sighs and shrugs and I'm even more curious now.
