Alex's POV

"Oh my Godness, what happened to you Perrie?" - Debbie shouts as she sees her daughter.

"I got attacked last night, I'm okay now" - Perrie says.

"Didn't you stay in Alex's house last night?" - she asks her and looks at me.

"Mum let me go inside first, I'll explain" - Perrie says and walks inside her apartment.

I walk in behind her and her mum shuts the door and follows us in the living room. Perrie sits down and leans her head back, rubbing her belly.

"My legs hurt.." - she mumbles.

"Tell me what happened now" - Debbie says as she takes a seat next to her. "Is the baby okay?"

"Yeah, she's fine" - she answers and looks at me. "Can you get me a glass of water, chocolate and a blanket, please?"

"I'm on it" - I say as I nod my head and make my way in the kitchen.

I'm almost sure she asked me for all these things so she can tell Debbie what happened without me being there. I understand her though. I'd want to leave them alone too.

As soon as she got dismissed from the hospital, she wanted to go home. She didn't even want to eat anything. She was quiet the whole ride home, and I didn't want to ask her questions or talk to her. I know that sometimes she just wants to stay silent.

Maybe it's because of what I told her last night. I feel really bad for it. I saw her crying and kept shouting at her. But it wasn't because I was angry at her. I was scared. Scared of losing her. I've lost her once, and if it happened again, I wouldn't be able to handle it. When I saw her laying on the street, unconscious, my heart stopped. I thought that I've lost her forever. I started crying at the exact same moment. There was so much blood, she was cold, she wasn't moving. I think I came back to life when the paramedic told me that she's alive.

Then, when she woke up, I couldn't help but react like that. I know that I made her cry, and I feel awful because of that now. She literally came back from the dead, and my reaction to that could have been better.

I fill up the glass with water and take her favourite chocolate from the cupboard, then make my way back in the living room. Perrie quickly wipes a tear away and her mum rubs her back gently.

"Uh.. here you go.. Where can I get a blanket from?" - I ask her as I pass the water and the chocolate to her.

"My bedroom.. and thanks.." - she says.

As soon as I walk inside her bedroom, I notice a picture on the cupboard next to her bed. It's a picture of us from the day I asked her to be my girlfriend. We're sitting on my couch in my living room. I have my arm around Perrie and she's leaned on my chest. Both of us are smiling at the camera. I still remember that day. It was one of the best days in my life. I miss this so much.

I put the frame back down and take the blanket from her bed before I go back in the living room.

"Thank you" - Perrie says as I put it over her.

"Well, if you're okay, I'll go out cause I need to get something. Alex, you're staying right?" - Debbie looks at me and stands up.

"Uh.." - I look at Perrie. "If you want me to stay, then I will.."

She nods and smiles slightly.

"Alright then, I'll leave you alone for a couple of hours. Bye" - she says and walks out od the room.

I sit back down and Perrie gives me a nervous look.

"Do you need anything else?" - I ask her.
