"With every sun comes a new day. A new beginning. A hope that things will be better today than they were yesterday."
The sun faded away and a painting of a girl with short, messy h/c hair and jewel-like e/c eyes fringed with long lashes, appeared on the wall. She was wearing a tiger skin as a cloth.
"But not for me. My name's Y/n."
Then another girl's painting appeared next to her. Big green eyes, red curly hair and she was muscular.
"And this is Eep. We are best friends."
Eep waved her hands at Y/n as the Cave paintings added few more people with them. A family of cavemen.
"This, her family, the Croods. If you weren't clued in already by the animal skins and sloping foreheads - we're cavemen."
The leader of the family suddenly gasped looking at his right and started to push his family and Y/n to a cave.
"Most days we spend in our cave, in the dark."
The leader covered the opening of the cave with a big boulder. The family and y/n scattered around the dark cave. Only visible thing in that cave was their big shiny eyes. The sun rises and sets. Moon comes and goes. But they stayed in the cave, safe from the dangers lurking around outside.

"Night after night, day after day. Yep. Home sweet home."
The head of the family opened the cave and motioned his family to come out. The croods and Y/n followed him, happy to be out after few days.

A Bear Owl chased after them across the desert.
Next a big snake.
Eep and Y/n ran in different direction from the family, far away from the giant Snake. They helped each other to climb on a leafless tree.
"When we did go out, we struggled to find food in a harsh and hostile world."
