(a/n: this chapter is in honour of me making my first cake today which turned out amazing, also meet my cat nyla)
today i decided to make a cake with joe since i've never made one, jim and freddie were out all day so that gave me no distractions, i love my dad but he can mess things up very quickly. i got an apron on and tied my hair up in a high pony, i saw that joe had the ingredients already measured and put out "joe! i told you i wanted to do it myself!" i exclaimed, "i know but i fed you growing up and i wanted to prepare it for you!" he said babying me.
i sighed "fine.. but next time don't do that!" i said whilst grinning, we mixed all the ingredients together and poured it into two cake tins, joe put it in the oven because i got scared of burning myself, well i am freddies daughter after all!. we had a drink and some lunch in the meantime, after about 30 minutes the cakes were done and we iced them, we finished and came through the door was my dads "freddie! jim!" i said while running over to them to hug the both.
"good timing, we just finished the cakes!" joe said to the both of them, "darling we got you a little something" freddie said, jim shook his head "it's not little! he spoiled you!" he said, "she's my daughter, i want her to feel like a princess" freddie said while hugging me. i saw bags from tiffany's and got excited, i opened the bag and saw a box, i pulled the string and the box popped open, there was a silver bracelet with my dads and mine initials f,s and j.
"dad! i love it so much, put it on!" i said while jumping up and down, freddie opened it and jim put his hands under my arm as freddie placed it on, it fit like cinderella's shoe. i examined it and fell deeply in love, i turned around to see joe with three plates that had slices of cake on them, "oh joe, thank you, dads please try it! joe get yourself a piece too! " i said while taking the plates from him and placing them on the table, they both tried it and they were really happy "this is delicious!" freddie said while licking his lips, jim and joe nodded in agreement.
we finished the whole cake and continued to look through the whole shopping spree, i got a few new bits and i couldn't be happier.
(a/n: i know this is short but i started this a while back and couldn't finish it so you have to put up with this, but how is everyone? in this pandemic especially!, i'm working on three books so i need you guys to hold on! i received a few notifications saying more people are reading this story and are enjoying it, so if your new hi! i'm not usually this lazy but school is starting soon and i'm stressed out so if i lack just know i'm still doing this book, i just need time! okay goodbye loves! saf🤍)
