chapter twelve: choreo

song: trip by ella mai, winter's ball by hamilton cast (at studio), helpless by hamilton cast

Kaylee's POV

"Do you have to come? I don't want you to see me dance," Pipa groans. "Please. I'm begging you. You know dance is my favorite part of theatre. I will literally pay you," I say, as I jokingly get on my knees. "Do you really wanna do this or do you just wanna see Ant?" she asks. I groan loudly. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding!" she says. "But while we're on the topic," I start. "Is everyone gonna be there today?"  I ask. She goes through a list in her head, then her eyes suddenly get big as she realizes something.

"Wait hold on. Let me just check to make sure that you can come!" she says in a high pitched voice. "Um, okay?" I say, laughing. She is so weird.

Before going into her room, she pulls out her phones and starts texting someone.

Phillipa's POV

I start texting people as soon as I get into my room, and I get immediate responses

Pip, did you even see how Jas was at the party?

It might make things awkward with the three of them in the same room..

Well, Ant and Jas talked yesterday..

7:40 A.M.

I still don't think it's a good idea

But, you do you

I leave the chat and don't respond. Well, Ant said it was fine, so I guess it'll be okay.

I walk out of my room into the common area.

Kaylee's POV

"So can I go?" I say with a laugh. "Yea, let's go! Don't wanna be late." She pulls me out of the apartment, downstairs, and into a cab. "You've been super weird the past two days," I say. "I've always been weird," she says, checking her phone. "Okay," I huff.
