A murderer. That was her label. It didn't matter why she had got it, but that's all anyone knew her to be. A pawn in Hydras game. A game of death, but she doesn't want to play anymore. How big of a difference can a small piece make?
Best...
No no no no no! They put the building in lockdown!. Will frantically swiped the key card at the door but it wouldn't budge. Lockdown means that all the key cards except master cards will freeze and unfortunately guards don't have master cards.
Possible solutions ran through my brain until one popped up over the rest. I shared a look with Will and it was clear he has the same idea running through his own mind.
He cupped his hand and I put my foot on the before jumping up and grabbing the nearby vent. As I fell, gravity and my weight brought the grates down with me.
Will jumped and pulled himself up, his flexibility and agility were always outstanding. He then helped me up and put the grates back were they were, slightly more wonky. As we crawled through the vents we could hear shouts and orders being thrown about as well as lots of soldiers running around the area. We managed the reach a downwards chute which would hopefully lead us right where we wanted to be.
We slid down and reached the vent to the control room in the basement. We broke through and found the box which controlled all the electricity, bar the emergency supply.
See the only way to get outside without a master card would be to get rid of the use of cards all together and therefore we had to get rid of the electricity so the doors would just open normally and with no fuss. However we had to act quickly after that as we wouldn't know when someone would turn on the extra power supply. To help with the darkness when we switch off the electricity we managed to find a couple of torches that were lying in the weapons room.
Will opened the electricity box and was faced with a tangle of wires.
"Um... I'm not an electrician. I have no idea what to take out" Will said to me.
"Just take them all out." I plainly answered.
"What!"
"I mean one of them has go to do what we want so just take them all out."
Will thought for a moment before understanding I was probably right. He took all the wires out and the room went pitch black. I turned my flashlight on.
"All right it's time to be faster then that time in Monaco"
The room became pitch black and I could only assume so had the rest of building. We climbed back to the exit before and checked to see if the coast was clear. It was so we jumped down and opened the door. A cool breeze brushed against my face and I took in the fresh air. It had never felt so good.
It was dark out giving us the perfect cover. We sped around the area to find the nearest place for us to climb out. Suddenly the floodlights turned on. White flashed all around me, my eyes squinting so I could see through the light
A voice in my head screamed with panic.
"RAVEN RUN" Will yelled towards me and my feet immediately lifted off the ground and followed him. Shots started firing from the watch towers and I could barely hear the orders going to the men.
I hastened my speed, firing back shots at every opportunities I got. Will was doing the same. We hid behind a small hut that had been built outside the building. Panting, we replaced our ammo and recollected ourselves. I could hear bullets hitting the front of the hut and knew they were getting closer.
I turned my body around to see how close they were when I could see a bullet coming straight for me. It was so fast I could barely comprehend what was happening. Luckily Will managed to put his arm out in front of my face and the bullet bounced of the shield, the impact causing Will to hit me in the face.
"Told ya it would be handy!" He said proudly.
The shots started to thin out as the men reloaded their guns. I took this chance and dragged Will up as we both headed straight around the corner and up the barbed wire wall.
Climbing it shoud've been easy if there weren't life threatening bullets aimed at us.
Weren't they supposed to capture us alive?
Although I struggled at first, I managed to reach the top and was about to jump over and out when I hear a shriek come from below me.
Will had been shot and was hanging on for life by one hand.
