Nick Fury found A53, and renamed her Emily. She told him what had happened to her, but she didn't know who did it and she didn't know where exactly. He helped her gain control of her power and to learn how to fight. He kept her a secret, though, because he was afraid of what could happen to the girl if anyone ever found out.
Fury raised Emily until she was 24 years old, in the year 2024. She, like her father figure, had been snapped away for 5 years, so she still looked 19. Her dad had decided to introduce her to the remaining Avengers, so they could help her to finish training and begin to fight with the others.
