Sunsets and You

Watching the sunsets every afternoon,
Reminds me of the time where I was with you,
But reminiscing about it, brought back the pain,
The pain I am trying to hide for such a long time,
'Cause every time I see sunsets, it reminds me of you.

I know how much you love gazing at it each time we see it,
Whenever we walk home from work during the afternoon,
I can see how it makes you smile and happy,
As I quietly glanced at you, mesmerize over the sunset,
And now, it was all but memories, slowly fading.

Now I am all alone, watching it over the horizon,
Thinking of you, wondering, are you watching it too?
The memories of you keep on haunting me,
Flooding into my mind, fading, reviving then dying,
Are you just simply a memory of yesterday?
