An Act of Love

Her Guardian Angel

Part II

As I watch her sleep under the magical tree, I can't help but smile while looking at her face. She seems so serene, yet sadness is written all over her face.

As my wings continue to surround her while I am leaning my back on the tree, I heard her whisper, "thank you, for saving me". I looked at her and I was amused.

Then she fell from her position and good thing I've caught her head before it hits the ground, I gently put her head on my lap and let her sleep peacefully.

The tree keeps on glowing, as the full moon peeks on us and it shines so bright. I keep at staring at her as she sleeps, as I keep her warm with my wings around her.

As I heal the small wounds she has on her arms, my hand glows and it becomes warm, as I put it on her wounds, until it heals and then disappears.

I know she'll wake up and so I took out something and put it on her, so she can be warm. I stood up and walks towards the lake, looking at it as it shines under the moon.

Then I heard a whisper, I looked back and she was already awake. I went back to her and kneeled before her, asking, "Are you feeling better now?" She nodded and then she took my hand.

She put it on her cheeks, feeling the warmth it has, then she looks at me, saying, "are you, my guardian angel?" I answered "Yes". Then she embraced me, thanking me for saving her.

"Do you want to go home?" I asked her, she shakes her head, saying, "I want to stay here for a bit longer." I took her hand then I carried her. "Where are we going?" She asked me.

"Well, I'll show you the magical places while you're still here with me". She smiles at me and she laughs, she seems excited for the adventure. She embraces me as I fly out to the skies.

She holds on to me tight, as I fly her out to the places she's never been before, for I want her to smile again, to see her happy again, considering, I've been with her always, but she doesn't know, until the moment I've rescued her.

After all, I am her guardian angel.
