Don't leave me Alone

25: A True Bond never breaks...

A bond is something that pulls you closer to the bonded person, even if you are miles away. Together they shared a bond not even death would violate.

It has been a week since Marinette has been released from the hospital, and she has healed quite fast. Adrien was staying in Marinette's house as his dad needed time to recover. They were so happy to have each other. 

But Tikki was not so happy during the week as she had realised that the day was coming closer and closer and finally it arrived. Tikki's condition was devastating. Whenever, Marinette would ask her what happened, she would reply with a fake smile and say that she was okay. BUt she knew she had to tell.

Marinette was working on her designs and Adrien was checking his phone. 

"Um, Marinette and Adrien we have something to tell you." Plagg said, realising that Tikki would not be able to say anything.

"Yes, you know that you can tell us anything, right?" Marinette asked smiling. 

"Well, you know, Hawkmoth has been defeated and there's no more villain, so, um...., you know, your jobs as Ladybug and Chat Noir are done and our jobs are also finished. So we have to leave now." Plagg hesitatingly stated.

Tikki was fidgeting with her small hands. 

"Nooo, this can't be, ther-there w-will be more v-villains, right? There are still criminals left to fight right? And we can't defeat them without you, right? And-"

"Marinette, calm down." Adrien said. Marinette was choking on those words and she was literally shaking.

"I'll not let you leave. Tikki, spots on!" Marinette yelled and transformed into Ladybug so that Tikki couldn't go.

"Princess, you know that they had to leave someday, and you can't stop them, they have to return. Even if you transform as Ladybug, you will have to detransform after 5 minutes, so there's no point." Adrien said, his voice laced with concern.

Ladybug didn't listen, rather she didn't want to listen. She knew Adrien was right, but she didn't want to believe. She went on top of the Eiffel tower. The stars always seemed to calm her down, but not today, she was afraid, afraid of loosing her best kwami friend, her sister. 

I knew this day would come, when we have to part ways
 but it all happened so fast and besides,
I was thinking sideways...

She had spend so much time with her and yet, the time spent according to her was very short. She remembered the day when she made her that small house.

~Flashback~

Ladybug and Chat Noir had to fight an akumatised villain that day, and unfortunately it was raining. She was drenched in rain. After the fight, when Ladybug went home, she was already shivering. With chattering teeth, she released her transformation, and Tikki was lying on her bed, closing her eyes, shaking from time to time. As soon as the Ladybug suit came out, she felt better, but that feeling didn't last long as she saw Tikki. 

"Oh, my gosh! Tikki, Did you catch a cold?" She quickly took the small creature in her palms and immediately felt the heat radiating from her body. She was in a poor condition. She was so worried.  When the rain had stopped, she took her to Master Fu. Master Fu with his healing capabilities, helped Tikki feel better but he also told Marinette that she needed rest for the next day. She had fed Tikki small crumbs of cookie. When Tikki was sleeping, she decided to build a small house for her. She was working so hard and by the time she had finished, it was already evening. 

"Tikki, are you feeling better, now?" Marinette asked sweetly. She yawned and replied, "Yes, Marinette, I'm feeling much better now." 

"Good, because I have a surprise for you, and I know you love surprises." Marinette cooed.
