Chapter 3 - this day can't get any worse

Hawks PoV

Stupid rain! Stupid patrol! Don't get me wrong, I love being a hero sometimes but seriously it cold, wet and dark. Sure there's more crime but it wasn't even my turn I just had to fill in for Endeavour because his quirk doesn't work in the rain. Ugh! I'm getting what Touya meant when he said Endeavour was a pain. I miss him! I think I liked him. Now a days my minds always goes back to my childhood with Toyz. Even if I was captured and cage bird. He made me feel so free. He promised we'd meet again in the next life if he died. I never understood what he meant did he know that he was going to die. I wish we had become heroes together. The world is such a fucked up place. I flapped my wings as a soared through the streets of japan. The soft breeze brushed against my skin. This is as free as I'll ever get!

Japan seemed ever so dull today. Nothing was happening well I guest villains don't like fighting in the rain like heroes don't. I personally hate rain for my own reason. Touya frickin' Todoroki. Don't think about him, it'll make you sad again. Think of what I could be doing. If I wasn't here I'd be would be at home with some KFC next to a radiator watching some TV. Huh, only a few minutes left. I've done nothing at all! Yay... I guess.

"This day can't get any worse." I thought at loud screaming it for the gods of this twisted world to hear.

Tears began to stream down my face as I remembered Touya. He loved rain and he made me love it. That why I now can't help but hate it. He used to say when the world is beating you just scream for the God of the cruel world to hear. They may never respond but it's sure as hell is fun. Cuz no matter how powerful a hero is there is a possibility of them to get pissed. So scream your thoughts no matter how stupid. Maybe one day some will hear your cries and help.

"Where are you Touya! I need you, I'm falling apart."

I could hear is response in my head...

"Kiki... you are the strongest person I know so don't you dare fucking cry on me. You are an amazing hero and you'll never be broken as long as your true to yourself."

"I'm going mad." I cried, "I need you! It still hurts, you not being here with me. Sometime I just want it all to stop to go back to when we were kids."

"We both know that can't happen. The past is the past we have to live in the present, bird brain. I'll always be here for you."

"But your not here!"

"Figuratively, mate. Duh... duh!"

In my head for some reason Touya always came to me. One day I'll find you. Your not dead I know your not.

"Hahaaha!" Seriously right now my brain is laughing at me, "Keigo Takami you are the most stubborn person I know but I'll wait be waiting for you."

I smiled. Whelp time up, I'm heading home. My wings began to flap as I rose into the air. What the hell there a dude crying on the roof? Is that Dabi? No it can't be no scared arm or hand. I flew up to make sure I didn't get noticed. Here in the cloud I watched his movements. He seemed to be walking to the ledge and stepped off. My eyes widened as I flapped down to catch him. Which I did by the way, I'm not the fastest hero for nothing. I looked down to see the guy I had caught and to my surprise, he looked like he'd passed out. There was something about him that was so familiar, what was it?

Then his eyes twitched and fluttered open. My eyes just stared right, back. His eyes looked as if they were staring into the depth of my soul. He looked down and then grabbed me hard. It was like a death grip and as I began to figure at who he was. Then his icy glare looked back at me in a fear. So I placed him down, who is he... I know I know him.

No-one PoV

"Dude, I get fucking motion sick especially when a certain chicken flies me through the air and drops me onto a roof. Seriously what the hell bird brain!? Why would you save me anyways? I was doing the world a favour... you know getting rid of a monster." He said while he was hurling all his inside next to the ledge. He wiped his mouth and locked eyes with the winged hero, once again. Then it clicked Keigo knew who the man was...

"Touya!"

The rain carried on thudding on the ground as that word echoed round the roof top. The blue eyed man looked down at the puddle revealing an unburnt face. A tear dropped down onto the puddle sending a ripple through it. Whelp the rapid healing did it's job. I'm not even in my frickin' rut yet, thought Dabi.

Soon after he began quickly walking away. Well not walking more like running and when I say quickly I mean took of in a full sprint but that obviously wasn't fast enough to out run the hero. Again what do you expect the hero he was running away from was one of the fastest.

"This day can't get any worse" dabi thought.
