Prologue: "Looking At You"

A/N: Hello, this is a reboot of my first fanfic, there's going to be some major and minor changes to this story, as most of the reboots are, the plot will remain kind of the same though, so enough rambling and enjoy.

My name is Y/N L/N, 17 years old, and i am just your regular highschool student and i kinda like music and to play piano casually, other than that, well i can't think of any ways to introduce myself other than that, I'm just average, like really average, but i guess my life is not average.

Before I moved into Shinjuku, Tokyo, I used to live in the countryside part of Japan, it was really peaceful there but one day.....

My mother, Ai Kisaragi, died, she died while giving birth to me, holding my father's hands, Arata L/N, she died while being only 18 years old, I heard she was quite the sickly person, she was also really unaware of the world, because she was very sickly, but my father and mother met when they were 13 years old and they've been dating since, until they gave birth to me, so i kinda think i am a curse, even though my father reassures me that i'm not.

How did i know? That much was obvious, well I just asked my dad, who pretty much told me everything when i was 5 years old, though that truth really hit deep with me, I pretty much was very matured when i was 6 years old.

I lived in the countryside for 17 years, pretty much most of my life, but when i became a third year, my resolve changed, I moved to Shinjuku City, Tokyo to get money for my dad, siblings and my personal financial problems in the future, and i got there pretty easily, since my aunt there was a pretty well known doctor, so atleast i knew someone from the big bad city, or so i say.

'Well monologuing ain't gonna help me, though i must say that was pretty impressive coming from me, nice job, emo me!', I thought to myself.

After that sudden revelation i walked out my door to wander around to familiarize myself so i don't get lost like an idiot, though wandering around was my strong point, I liked it, and besides, it's to fill my average life to something fun, not that i find my life pretty boring or hopeless, I liked the peace and quiet don't get the wrong idea, It's just that sometimes, you gotta spice it up a little, you would get bored eating tasteess oatmeal for 6 months, so i sometimes put sugar in my life.

'Ah what am i even saying?!, tasteless oatmeal my ass, oatmeal tastes like basically water but it's thick and with oats, of course you put sugar, what kinda idiot puts no sugar? I guess that's me, I kinda like the taste of it.' I was in thought for a while, this was kind of my habit, so old habits die hard, or so they say.

I was pretty much walking without paying attention to anything at all, nothing really strikes my attention, asides from the regular cafes and restaurants, it was pretty much what i expected, but to nail it down the mark, pretty amazing if i do say so myself.
