I can't find a good name for this chapter but shit's about to go down part 2

Callie's POV

I anxiously waited for the officer to finish his sentence and when he did, my world fell apart.

"I'm sorry to tell you but your parents have been in a car accident, sadly they didn't make it" he said.

I felt numb and the last thing I remember is Trevor hugging me before I blacked out.

Author's POV

After Callie blacked out they decided to take her to the station and say what was previously rehearsed.

You might be asking, why was it rehearsed if death is never planned?

Well in this case it was. Here is the backstory before we continue with the story:

Callie's mom and her husband decided they weren't enough mentally and economically for Callie, they decided to contact her biological father who lives in Pittsburgh.

They explained the plan, fake their death and send Callie to finish her senior year in Pittsburgh with her dad.

They knew it would affect her mentally but they kept on thinking it was for the best, so they talked to the officers and signed some papers after contacting her father.

Callie's POV

I woke up in a black leather chair with my arms wrapped around Trevor, I was still in my dress so I know that this isn't a dream.

After a couple of minutes, the officer that told me the news back at school, came in the room.

"Miss Jennings, as you know your parents have suffered and accident and well, they didn't make it. I suppose you also know your biological father is still very much alive." He said and I nodded.

"He signed some papers and you will finish senior year with him in Pittsburgh, where he resides, when you were born your mother signed a paper to say that if anything were to happen to her, you would change your name to his last name" he said and I just nodded.

"So I will basically be shipped off to Pittsburgh, to live with a man I don't know?" I said scoffing.

The officer simply nodded and I broke down. Trevor jolted awake and hugged me tighter.

"You will say your goodbyes to your friends because you will be leaving on a red eye flight tonight, your father is a busy man and needs you there" the officer said and felt my vision blur with more tears.

"May I ask my father's name?" I asked

"His name is Sidney" he simply said.

"So what will my last name be now?" I asked confused.

"Crosby" he said and I looked at him in shock

"What the hell?!? My dad is Sidney Crosby?" I yelled.

"Your car and closet are already being transferred to Pittsburgh, your friend Amelia brought a change of clothes for you and you will be leaving immediately" he said in a serious tone and I just nodded.

He shook his head in approval and left me to say goodbye.

"Hey it's going to be okay, remember you will be closer to boston" Trevor said kissing my hair.

That brought a smile to my face and I left the room to go and look for the squad to say goodbye.

When I saw them, a fresh batch of tears appeared in my eyes and I explained everything.
