Piper was never the type of girl to follow the trends, whatever they were. Despite having all the important social media, she was never really interested in being part of the groups. She was always much more interested in improving as a dancer than posting a Tik Tok, or doing streaks on SnapChat.
Amy, unlike her best friend, likes all these trends, quite a lot, and always participated. She knew all the Tik Tok dances, had several followers on Instagram and had many streaks on SnapChat. Amy was addicted to social media, but she was still a great acro dancer. She always tried to bring Piper into her world, and sometimes she was successful.
Although Piper agreed to do the Tik Tok dances, she never agreed to do those pranks that girlfriends did on their boyfriends, like the ones Amy loved to do with her boyfriend Henry. And Amy was curious to know the reaction of her friends' boyfriends. Lily and Kingston always joined her, since Kingston is a pretty famous youtuber.
But Piper, never accepted to do these type of things, because in her opinion, it was childish. Amy often wondered how someone as anxious and serious as Piper could be with someone like Finn. Don't get her wrong, Piper and Finn were perfect for each other, but it was really ironic that Piper didn't do these trends because they were childish, while her boyfriend was the most childish person Amy knew. But as they say, opposites are attracted to each other.
But today, Piper wouldn't leave the studio without doing one particular trend that Amy wanted her to do. She would lock everyone up in Studio-A if necessary.
Piper arrived at the studio one hour before rehearsals started. She liked to sit at The Next Steep, have her tea and then stretch properly, unlike her boyfriend, who was always late and only did five minutes of "stretching".
As soon as she sat down at one of the tables, she saw Amy skipping towards her.
"What are you doing here, Amy?" Piper asked suspiciously. Amy never arrived that early. Her best friend was normally on time, but never arrived at the studio one hour before dance class.
"Hello to you too, Piper." Amy said, laughing and sitting across from her friend. "I want to ask you a favor ..."
"No." Piper replied, already knowing what her friend was going to ask.
"Come on, Piper." Amy said frustratedly. "It's fun! Even Richelle did it. "
Piper raised an eyebrow. Richelle? Were they talking about the same Richelle?
"Yes, Richelle." Amy replied, she knew what Piper was thinking, she knew Piper really well.
"I will think about it, but you know that I think those trends are stupid, I have more ..."
"Important things to do ... I know" repeated Amy, it was always the same phrase. "It won't last more than five minutes, and you know that Finn won't mind"
"It is not a question of Finn caring, I find it strange to do those things. Like, why would I send a breakup song to my boyfriend, who I love so much? " Piper asked Amy, she sipped her tea and continued. "I wouldn't like it if he did this to me, I would probably kill him later, so ..."
"Okay, without these breaking up trends, I get it. But I swear that this trend has nothing to do with breaking ups." Piper sighed, Amy understood that Piper wanted to know what she had to do. Amy smiled and explained to Piper what she would have to say. Piper gave a small smile and nodded. "Here is the paper with the questions. When Finn arrives we can start..."Amy gave a little shriek of excitement causing Piper to laugh.
They both got up and headed towards Studio-A, where Richelle was rehearsing her solo for Nationals. Piper and Amy applauded as soon as Richelle finished. The dance was certainly impressive, just like Richelle.
