Eye to Eye || Part 2

Two of Us

The next few weeks were really busy for Piper. B-Troup entered in a small competition where she was chosen to do a solo, her first solo since she left the main troupe of The Next Step. She checked what her soulmate was doing some times a day, but she normally saw the same recording room or a bedroom.

"Hey Piper..." The girl gave a small jump of fright, Amy entered the room and she did not notice.

"Hey Amy. How was rehearsal? It took more than normal" She asked her best friend, normally Amy's rehearsals would end at 6 p.m. but today it ended at 8 p.m. She hates talking about A-Troupe but she enjoyed watching Amy's excitement.

"They were fine, kinda tired to be honest, Emily asked us to stay for longer since we needed to finish choreographing the final dance. Sorry I made you wait for too long." Piper gave a small smile and drank a bit of her tea. "Did you find anything interesting about your soulmate?"

"Actually, yes I did. There is a wall full of Finn Mackie's singles..."

"You mean the famous singer and dancer?" Piper nodded. Amy looked down, which Piper knew that Amy was thinking. "Maybe he works for Finn Mackie, wasn't him in a record studio for the last two weeks?"

"Yeah, he was..." Piper said, waiting for Amy to finish her idea.

"Or maybe..." Piper noticed that Amy was reluctant to tell Piper her thoughts. "Why don't you check to see what your soulmate is doing now?"

"Why?" Piper with confusion.

"Well, Finn Mackie's tour started today in North America, if he works for Finn he should be backstage."

Piper nodded and covered her brown eye. She saw a crowd of people, many people, it was a full stadium full of people. The lights were too bright for her to see anything clear but she knew he was in the middle of the stage.

"So what did you see?" Amy asked, while Piper still processed the information.

"It was a stadium, full of people, and he was in the middle of the stage." Amy raised an eyebrow.

"Let's go home, then we can research more about it." Piper agreed and both girls walked towards Amy mom's car, who was waiting for them.

"Hello Mrs. Bain." Piper said sitting in the behind sits.

"Hello Piper, How are you? I see that your eyes are different..." Piper smiled and nodded.

"I'm fine, thanks for asking. And yes, they did change."

"We are trying to find her soulmate, we got some hints." Explained Amy to her mom.

"Really? That is really nice." Said Amy's mom driving. "How is Henry, Amy? I never saw him anymore."

Henry is Amy's boyfriend, and her soulmate. "He's good mom, but he normally stays longer in the studio since he was chosen to be the male soloist."

The rest of the car ride was a conversation between Amy and her mom, Piper just looked through the window and sometimes added her input when asked. When they got to Amy's house the girls ate dinner and watched a movie with Amy's parents before they ran to Amy's room so they could continue the conversation.

"Okay, so Finn is on tour and was in Vancouver today..." Said Amy reading the information from her computer. "That must have been what you saw! What do you see now?"

Piper signed and covered her eye again. This time it was a white dressing room, it had a big and comfortable couch, a table with food and water, a changing area and a table with makeup.
