Chapter 24

I couldn't sleep whole night so I decided to look around while running. I carried my backpack everywhere i go (it's like a part of my costume), so I found white shorts, some grey sneakers and grey top. When i changed my clothes, i left the spider costume in my room with my backpack and went outside. I don't know why I was hiding from the guards, but everytime I hear someone comming i stick myself on the other side of the wall untill they pass the hall and dissapear around the corner. I continued my tour around the palace. I was thinking alot. If I can find somehow that Peter is okay I'll be calmer now... I thought. I left the palace and headed to the bridge that was leading to the portal I came. Before I stepped on the bridge, I stood a few seconds felling an anxiety growing inside me. In no time i turned around and head back to the palace.

People on the streets were glaring at me. Looks on their faces were telling me a lot of stuff. Like: "Who she?", "What does this freak doing here?", "Who does she think she is?" etc...

From all of that i started running back, but some gang of teens got on my way. I waited for their move, ready to defend myself.

"Who are you?" one girl glared at me. I was allready frozen.

"I-I..." I was scared, I couldn't speak properly.

"You... you..." the other girl imitated me, and the rest of them laughed. 

Now wasn't the good time to get nervous and release the lightning from my arms. I tried to calm myself so I closed my eyes with hope they'll dissapear.

"Okay, that was enough kids, go home!" I heard a deep manly voice in front of me. When I opened my eyes I saw Thor. Then he turned around to see me in defending position which made him laugh. He pulled me close to him wich made me blush really hard. Damn, I did not expect that. 

"Hold on tight sweetheart, okay?" I nodded and stick my fingers on his chest and neck. He spinned his hammer a few times before we ended up in the air. At first I closed my eyes and hid my head into his chest, but then I realised it wasn't that scary so I looked around. Where is he taking me? I thought. This is nice. I felt fresh breeze on my face, and running through my hair. I let myself from him, only holding my spider net stuck on his chest. I felt the adrenaline and forgot all my problems for a moment.

"Here we are." Thor said.

"Where?" I looked around confused.

"In the arena where I'll show you a few tricks how to control the thunder with you bare hands." Cool. I thought.

We started with first one and it was supouse to teach me to make a thunderbolt in my hands and release it in the air. It was simple, it sounds simple, and it looked simple when Blondie did it, but everytime i tried, it just explodes in my face. Thor laughed everytime i did that, but all I could think about was Peter. 

"You look distracted, what is botherin' you?" he asked.

"Well..." I explained him about Peter in short sentences. That was the reason i was a little bit off.

"So, as I can get, you wanna see him to make sure he's okay and you'll be better?" he sounded weird.

"Yes..." I answered. The next second I was in his arms again, but this time he was holding me and now we're in the air again. "Where are we going?" I asked.

"To see your friend ofcourse." Thor said and the rest of the path we were silent.

He took me in the same room where the portal was. There was an energy ball that could show me anything on any planet I wanted.
