They all went to breakfast, and Wes- well, the body of Thad and mind of Wes- was already there.
"I'm guessing you already figured it out?" Nick asked before he'd even sat down.
Wes looked up at him, doing a double-take. "It's very odd to have a conversation with myself. But yes, I have. I couldn't get Thad's phone unlocked so I just read the messages on the home screen as they popped up, so I know who everyone is."
They all sat down in the spots they should be- Sebastian taking Kurt's spot and Kurt taking Blaine's- so nobody looked twice at them.
"Do any of us have food allergies?" Blaine asked, looking around at the others. Nobody spoke up. "Great, I'm just going to eat, then."
They all followed his example, filling their plates.
"Um, Nick?" Wes spoke up quietly. "Nick? Nick?"
Nick went for a utensil and Wes reached across the table, grabbing his wrist.
"What?" Nick asked, looking up at him as his heart beat faster. He frowned worriedly at the panic in his eyes. "Wes, what's wrong?
"Just... Take it easy, alright? You'll make me- yourself- my body sick if you don't. I have a weak stomach."
He nodded, glancing around him to make sure no one was listening, leaning in closer. "Is that why I woke up so hungry?"
Wes looked rather embarrassed. "Yeah... Yesterday wasn't a great day. But it's getting better. Just eat a little, eat something that isn't rich, and eat it slowly. If you don't it'll make you sick and you'll lose more food then you ate."
"Okay. What should and shouldn't I eat?"
"Both of those are very long lists. Chocolate, anything sugary and anything rich are absolute nos. Water is important. I... It's gonna kinda suck to be me, just warning you. I'm used to it, but you aren't."
"Is toast alright?"
"Yeah, toast's fine. Jam's fine, too, the kind they have here."
"Okay."
"Guys, how are we going to get around today?" Thad asked, looking around at them.
Sebastian laughed. "Well, you're going to have to kiss Jeff here in public at least twice. Hunter and I are very demonstrative."
Thad wrinkled his nose jokingly. "Ew. I have to?"
"Hey, it's not like I want to either," Jeff said.
"Well, David and I are the exact opposite, they'll be more suspicious if you show affection than if you don't," Wes told Nick and Blaine.
Hunter gave Thad a mutinous look as he refilled his water glass. He smiled innocently, drinking more water.
"You should probably hide," Jeff told Hunter. "People will come to you- me- for help all day long. If you and Nick- well, the physical version of Nick- disappear, they'll just think we're shagging and leave you alone."
"You're saying I have to spend the day stuck in a room with Hunter?" David asked, exaggerating how bad it sounded and making them laugh.
"We could all disappear and do a game day or something," Kurt suggested. "The less my body is moved around, the better."
"That'd be fun," Jeff agreed. "Just one question-" he turned to Thad, hissing, "why is your hand on my thigh?"
"To keep up the act," Thad responded quietly.
"Could you at least keep it still? You keep touching my dick."
"Kinda the point."
Jeff gave Thad a furious look, and he shrugged.
"Jeff," Nick spoke up. "It's fine. Do what you need to do to keep up the act. I'm not gonna get mad."
He nodded, looking less angry. "I'm still not happy with this."
"We all probably need to do that," Sebastian spoke up. "To keep up the act."
Hunter chuckled. "You enjoy yourself, Bas."
Kurt shot Hunter a dirty look. "He will not be enjoying himself."
"Neither will you," David added, looking at Hunter. "The most I will do is kiss you or hold your hand, because Nick and Jeff are adorably innocent."
Hunter stuck his tongue out at him. "You're no fun."
"I agree that everyone should be let off the hook for today when it comes to keeping up pretenses," Wes spoke up. "I think it's fair, because if we need to talk and someone gets suspicious, the easiest way to fix it is to just kiss your 'partner.' Or, in some cases, start groping them."
"At least two people need to see you smack his ass today," Sebastian told Jeff. "They're counting how long we can do it every day and you cannot mess this up. They don't know that we know about it."
"We should all switch back phones," Kurt said. "So we can answer our own texts. If a text comes in for the person who switched to us, we can text them it. If I word a text wrong or sound off, my dad will come down here with a shotgun and start blasting."
They all agreed, switching phones.
