After Thad stormed out, Jeff soon followed, crying.
Nick blindly grabbed his napkin, wiping orange juice from his eyes. "What the fuck is his problem?" he seethed.
"I could be wrong, but I think it's you," Sebastian said mildly, sipping his water.
"Smartass," he said, giving him a dirty look.
"Some people just don't know when to shut up," Wes said.
Nick turned to him. "Yes! He-"
"I wasn't talking to you," Wes interrupted cooly. "I was talking about you."
His face dropped. "But... I thought we were friends."
"We were. But I was friends with Jeff long before I was friends with you. And I'll be friends with him long after you're out of the picture."
Nick looked stunned, and Wes got up, shaking his head. "You didn't think I liked you that much, did you?"
Wes left, and David got up silently and went with him.
Kurt said something quietly to Blaine as Hunter and Sebastian got up, and he nodded, following them out.
It was just Nick and Kurt left at the table when the Dean got there.
"Boys, care to come to my office and explain what happened?"
"I would, sir, but I'm not done eating," Kurt responded politely. "It's why I'm still here. I can head to your office once I'm finished, though."
The Dean nodded. "Please do. Nicholas, come with me."
