Dear Diary,

Johnny did a great job at cheering me up last night. Although, showering with Johnny was fun, we kind of got water everywhere. Oops! I feel like me again. Today is the day that Johnny officially moves in! I’m so excited. I bought him a wardrobe and a chest of drawers to put all his clothes in. After the shower excitement last night, Johnny went home for the last time to sleep and pack his things up. I checked my phone to see what the time was and I had a text from Johnny.

From Johnny <3

Hi babe, what time can I bring my stuff around at? I Love you xxxxx.

I replied.

To: Johnny <3

Hey babe, dad and I will help you at 1pm ish? I love you too xxxxx

 -----------------------------------------------------------

This morning, I have prepared my room to be lived in by two; Johnny and I. I have been so excited since dad officially asked Johnny. My two favourite people living under one roof. I woke up really early today. It was 8.05am I think. But I had to make sure that everything was ready for Johnny’s arrival. I put the wardrobe and drawers together and placed them opposite mine. I didn’t have to re-paint my room as my room is red and white, so it’s quite girlish and boyish. As the hours went by, I was getting so nervous. He’s already stayed for a whole weekend and it was one of the best weekends ever, but what happens if we have a fight? Would we both sulk in my room? I’ve known Johnny for over a decade and we have never been in a fight or argued about anything. What am I doing?  Johnny has been texting me all morning, saying how excited he is for today.  He should be packing his bits up.

 ------------------------------------------------------------

My dad woke up at 11am as he was up late last night watching a new film on Netflix or something. I made him breakfast and afterward he jumped in the shower and got ready.

‘Are you excited for today, baby?’ my dad asked, giving me a hug.

‘Yeah I am. You?’

‘Yeah. It would be nice to have another guy in the house, to talk about manly stuff with.’

‘Oh god’ I told him. ‘Shall we go over a little bit early, to help him pack?’

‘Okay’ my dad said. We got in the car and drove to Johnny’s house. I rang the doorbell and Johnny’s mum answered.

‘Hey Flo. Hey Rob.’ Tracey said.

‘Hiya Tracey’ My dad said.

‘Please come in’. For someone who is about to have another baby, she looked really good. Johnny had his music on loud and didn’t hear us. I didn’t want to disturb him packing. He sounded quite content.

 ----------------------------------------------------------

‘I can’t believe my little boy is moving out already! It only seemed like yesterday that he was still a baby.’

‘How far along are you, Tracey?’ I asked.

‘7 months on Wednesday. Baby number 5.’

‘Congratulations.’ My dad said.

‘Thank you!’ Tracey said, cradling her baby bump. She told me she always wanted a big family. She had Johnny at the same age as my dad and Eva had me. Johnny’s 16, William is 13, Kate is 11 and Billie is 6.

‘Can I go up to see Johnny?’ I asked

‘Of course. You know where his room is hun.’ She said. I ran up the stairs and knocked on Johnny’s door. He didn’t hear me knocking. So I just opened the door. He started shouting, still not facing me.

‘Can I not have some privacy-’ He turned around. He smiled. ‘Sorry babe, I thought you were Will or mum.’ He grabbed me by my wrists and pulled me close to him, music still playing loudly in the background.

‘I’ve been thinking about today all night. I can’t wait to have you near at night’ he said. He leant in and kissed me.

‘I can tell by the way you just kissed me.’ I told him.

‘And I’d do it again.’ I gave him a hug.

‘So, what do you want to do in the last hour of staying in this room?’

‘I have a few ideas.’ He replied flirtatiously.

‘Oh right, well you better make sure you have finished packing then’ I started teasing him and I could tell he was in the mood.

‘We better get started if we’re leaving at one’ Johnny said.

 ------------------------------------------------------------------

It was 12.45pm and Johnny and I were loading all of his belongings into the car. Hi mum was crying her eyes out. I reckon it was something to do with her hormones, being pregnant and all.

‘Have you got everything?’ Tracey said to Johnny.

‘Yeah mum. I’ll come back and visit every week mum. It’s not like I’m moving up north. I’m only going down the road.’

‘You’re my oldest child. I was hoping you’d move out uni age.’

‘You don’t need to worry about me. Just worry about little Harry or Isabelle inside you’ he said feeling her belly. He gave her a big hug and got into the car.

‘Look after him Flo.’

‘I will.’ I said, giving her a massive hug. My dad waved at her from the car

When we got home, dad and I helped Johnny take all of his stuff to our room. I helped him with his clothes and dad helped by bringing boxes up. Johnny was unpacking the boxes that dad brought up. He put a picture of his family on the bedside cabinet by his side of the bed. It took about 45 minutes to complete everything and by the time we finished, I was shattered. I lay back on the bed and Johnny copied. I rolled over to him and cuddled into him. Within minutes, I was asleep.
