Walking into the restaurant, I was about to grab a table but saw she was already sitting down. We made it a routine to catch up at least twice a month for dinner. Once on the 10th of every month and last on the 25th. It was our lucky numbers.

Smiling, I went over and sat in the chair across from her. She smiled back at me. "Hey beautiful."
"Hey gorgeous."
"I already ordered our wine but I didn't order the food." She looked me over and smirked. "Hold up. Did you finally get some?"
I narrowed my eyes. "That's the first thing you say when you see me bitch?"
"No. The first thing I said was hey and that I ordered the wine. The second thing I am asking is who is it? Your ass is glowing today. What's up. Spill tea."
"Okay but promise not to say anything." I held out my pinky and she wrapped hers around my owns.
"Swear." Kelly spoke.
"I ran into Toni."
Kelly made a face of excitement. "Ah. So then Toni ran into you?"
"Stop it!" I exclaimed laughing. "We didn't have sex."
"Mhm. Alright lie."
"I'm not lying. Worry about you and your manz."
She chuckled. "And will. I'll multi task. Where's—."
"You know Ry and on time just never mix. Don't even ask."
We both laughed before Kelly nodded. "You're right. I saw Keith the other day coming out of the jewelry store. He stopped me and we talked. Fessa, this boy had brought her a ring."
My eyes widened. "He's about to propose?"
"Mhm. He said so. Now hush up. Here comes Ryan."
