What a catch, Serkan bey-4

Arriving at the hotel she had asked if she would have a minute to go down to the beach but i knew our schedule to catch Ender bey after lunch was tight so i immediately dragged her to the lobby. I saw the disappointment but she played it over with telling me, of course we're here to meet him, let's go bump into him and let me do the rest. I remembered her great work when we met the customer while being handcuffed to each other.

„This time there are no rights of naming you can give him. It's his project anyway, but i get anxious about what you'r gonna give Ender bey in in the name of art&life?!"

She throw her head back and laughed.

„Oh I had almost successfully repressed that meeting, wow and that meat was for such a restaurant terribly dry, shame"

„Well you ate it ayway, I mean after tossing the veggies through the room, you had no choice."

She laughed „the circus -flying tomatoes and the handcuffed- playing in your town now, gosh how awfully kitchy is this lobby, my eyes my eyes, do you see the mirror ceiling all hat barock-ish art nouveau-ish whatever, wow someone just threw everything together with the goal to blind everyone who looks at it".

He looked up laughingly „Stop being dramatic, and yes it's really bad, oh hey there he comes...".

„Ender bey, what a coincidence to meet you here!"

„Aaa Serkan bey, it is a great surprise"

„We were having a brief vacation with my fiancée, may I introduce her, Ender bey this is my fiancée Eda, Eda this is our business partner Ender bey."

„You mean the partner for that superb holiday resort here. Pleasure to meet you, Ender bey. I have seen the plans and models and what a great understanding of the natural environment it has. Do you know that the local firs belong to the last examples of a special division of coniferus trees, and i'm in awe how you managed o reserve the trees with this project."

„Pleasure to meet you Eda hanim, you seem to be very into botanics?"

„My fiancée is a landscape architect."

„A budding landscape architect, there was some... difficulties with my graduation. Let us say I'm a florist." she said with the sweetest smile at me. 

Wow, she would never forgive this part of our story, would she?

„Ahaha as smart and pretty she is, she is also humble, what a catch Serkan bey!"

„Ahahah yes what a catch, did not know what hit me!" I nodded and looked into her mocking eyes.

„My wife has a beautiful garden here and loves to talk about nature, architecture and plants, would you two mind visiting us for dinner today, of course if we are not disturbing your love weekend."

„We would love to come, I would love to meet your wife and see your garden, Serkan and I, we have a whole life to enjoy eachother!" She smiled her fakest Eda Yildiz smile and linked her arm into mine. I find myself nodding some more like an idiot. Did I do anything other than nodding and saying her name in this conversation, God she is turning me really into  an idiot. 

But it was done, we were going to spend the evening with Ender bey and his family, and it was not even looking like we invited ourself in. She was so easy with people, how she was enchanting everyone... and also when did she study the project and it's landscape? She was really a constant surprise.

After parting with Ender bey, I told her that she can take the afternoon free and maybe go to the beach, I had some emails and reports to check.

„Serkan bey, are you ill or something, are you not going to ask me if I have the proper attire with me and force me through hair and makeup for preparation?!"

„You know, I would never do that, actually I trust your judgement in all of these matters. Also thank you for being informed about the project."

„Nevermind, I just stumbled across it when organizing the folders." she said and proceeded to the stairs.

„You're not expecting me to take the elevator, are you?"

„Of course not" I laughed, „our suite is on the 2nd floor, let's take the stairs".

„Wow Serkan bey, just wow" She laughed and a whole swarm of butterflies fluttered through my body meeting her eyes.
