You woke up, jolting slightly. Your heart was rushing and beads of sweat were forming from your face. You sighed, coming in touch with reality. You could never remember your dreams when you slept at Michael's. All you could vividly remember is a little girl's laughter. You looked around, seeing it was early in the morning, probably 7 or 8 am. The two of you had probably fallen asleep watching some kind of soap opera. You sighed, hearing Michael groan and opening his eyes slightly.

"Did I wake you up?" You asked, softly.

"You're okay, Y/N." He said, yawning, and sitting up.

"Another nightmare again?" You nodded. He sighed, hugging your waist.

"Well, you're alright now. I can make coffee if you'd like." He said, smiling a cute, tired smile. You smiled back, nodding. He stretched, getting up and going to make coffee. You went to go sit at the table as he did so. As the two of you talked and drank coffee, you heard footsteps making their way into the kitchen. You looked up and saw Mr. Afton, looking like hell and as if he hadn't slept for days.

"Morning, dad." Michael said, a bit quieter than he had been talking to you. Mr. Afton yawned.

"Morning. I'd been in that workshop for hours." He said, rubbing his temple.

I guess it makes sense that he's always in his workshop. The way the animatronics were programmed was full proof that he worked nonstop on them. He looked up at you.

"Oh, by the way, Y/N, how's that cut doing? Surely it must have hurt." He said. You grew uneasy by the look on his face.

"O-Oh, well..it's healing. It may leave a scar, though." You said. He made a face as if he were sorry for you, but it somehow looked fake, too. Suddenly, his expression went away just like that.

"Say, Henry invited me to go and take a look at his pizzeria since it's a work in progress. Do you two want to come and take a little tour?" He asked. You looked at Michael. He shrugged.

"Sure, why not." He said. Mr.Afton chuckled.

"Well, I suppose I'll be on my way. Feel free to stop by there whenever." He said, grabbing his keys and walking out the door to his purple car.

Later that morning, you and Michael had left to go to the new Freddy Fazbear's Pizza that hasn't been opened yet. The two of you walked in, seeing Mr. Afton and some guy you've never seen before. He had brown hair and brown eyes. He looked over at you two.

"Hello, Michael! And you must be..?" He asked, looking at you.

"Um, Y/N L/N. Nice to meet you." You said, smiling.

"Oh, yes, I've heard about you! Some employees call me Mr. Emily or Mr. Henry, but you can just call me Henry if you'd like since it seems you're pretty fond of the Aftons." He said, smiling.

"If you two would like, you can look around the place. There's not much yet, but there's a prize corner and arcade set up!" He said.

The two of you walked over to go look at the prize corner. A few plushies, some small toys, and candy were set up, (which you and Michael may or may not have snagged a couple pieces of.) You heard some small music, sounding just like those music boxes you'd play with as a kid. You walked toward the big present-looking box, hearing the music grow louder as you walked near it. You grabbed the top, trying to open it. It was a bit hard to, but you could at least see in it. As you looked down at this weird..puppet thing..you grew slightly cold. You felt weird looking at it, almost sad for it. You shook the thought, telling yourself you were just being weird.

Michael was currently playing Galaga with almost full concentration. He suddenly lost.

"Damn." He said, louder than expected. You laughed, covering his mouth.

"Michael, you're in a kid's place!" You said.

"Do you see any kids around here, Y/N?" He said, laughing and raising his eyebrow. You sighed, rolling your eyes smiling. After running out of free tokens, the two of you decided to sneak into the back office to hang out. You both sat in the office chair, cramped up together. You laid your head on his shoulder as his arm was wrapped around your waist.

"Why do they leave these air vents open? Couldn't somebody just.. crawl from room to room?" You said laughing. He laughed.

"I'm sure they'll fix that. It'd be kind of weird if not." He said. You stood up, looking down to see him slightly upset.

"Michael, we cuddle all the time, you'll live." You giggled. You wanted to look at the random stuff laid around the office. You looked at the creepy kid's drawings on the wall, probably from the previous location. You then tried to see if any of the tv screens would actually turn on, only to stay turned off.

"I wonder what this place looks like at night." Michael said. You looked at him.

"I don't know. I bet kid me would love to have the place to myself, though." You said.

"Ehh, I don't know about that. My dad says that the only lights going are the ones in this office. So it'd be super dark." He said.

"On second thought, no thanks." You said. He chuckled.

After sitting back down with him, the two of you talked about childhood and the few memories you had at Fredbear's.

"My poor brother. I'd never seen a kid so..terrified of a friendly, singing bear and bunny rabbit. I don't know what happened that made him so scared. And I only made it worse. I made fun of him for it. By now you know the price I paid for it, of course." He said, fidgeting with his thumbs and looking down. You put your hand on his.

"But he's okay now, Mike." You said, helping him feel slightly better. He sighed.

"Maybe it's best that my father's place is shutting down. That Circus Baby fills me with dread every time I see or hear it. Elizabeth loved her, idolized her even. She wanted to be her. She would come to me, crying about how she wished her daddy loved her like he loved Baby. She'd borrow some red lipstick left behind from her mum, trying all that she could to look like her. Now, every time I see Baby, I only think Elizabeth and her sadness." He said, tearing up.

"And it's all my fault for not looking after her like I should have." He said, quietly.

"Michael, none of that is your fault. Your father was just.."

"neglectful, unloving, uncaring.." he said, finishing you off.

"Yeah.." You said. You hugged him.

"You'll be okay, Michael. I'll be with you every step of the way." You said.

"I don't deserve this. Thank you, Y/N." He said, burying his face in the crook of your neck. You rubbed his back.
