You opened your eyes, waking up to the sound of your mom yelling. You groaned, remembering the last of your dream about some yellow rabbit man with a dog and a little girl. It was a bit weird, but oh well.

"Y/N, I made breakfast!" Your mom said from the kitchen. You got up and walked in there, immediately grabbing the pancakes she made.

"So, how much longer do you think your job at that Circus Baby place is gonna last until the new pizzeria opens?" She asked randomly. You thought about it. It was October after all, and they were supposed to be closed by the end of the year.

"I'd say probably a month or month and a half." You told her. You finished off your breakfast, going to get your work uniform. You put it in your bag, walking out to go leave to Michael's house.

"Why are you so eager to leave? Don't you work at lunch?" Your mom asked.

"Well, I-I'm going to Michael's..so..yeah bye love you!" You said awkwardly, walking out frantically to go to Michael's.

You arrived, knocking on the door. He opened it, seeing you and smiling. He hugged you.

"Thank god you're here. It's been a stressful morning." He said.

"Did your dad say something?" You asked him quietly.

"No, I swear. It's just..one of those days I suppose." He said. You kissed his cheek.

"There's no need to be stressed, Michael. You're okay." You said, smiling and sitting on the couch. He sighed.

"I-I'm on some new medicine. I suppose it's just making me feel weird right now." He said, sitting down, tapping his foot.

"Here, I'll turn the TV on. I'll make you some tea, crumpet boy." You said, smiling and ruffling his hair and walking to the kitchen. He chuckled and leaned back, sighing and closing his eyes.

"Father's in his workshop. He's not going to say anything." He whispered to himself, attempting to calm down. You brought him some tea, putting your hand on his leg to try and help. He stopped fidgeting and he calmed down.

"See? You're fine." You said, leaning your head on his shoulder.

"I don't deserve someone like you. It's not fair." He said.

"Mike, I'll say it for the 100th time, that you most definitely do." You said. After a few minutes of quiet time, the two of you heard a door open. Michael's foot began to start tapping again.

It must have been his dad leaving his workshop.

Mr. Afton walked into the living room, seeing the two of us on the couch.

"Oh, Y/N, you're here. Good to see you again." He said, noticeably looking at the scar on your arm.

"Good morning to you too, sir." You said, in a fake, but nice, tone.

"Michael, I'm heading to work. Henry will most definitely need me to help him out." He said. grabbing his purple car keys.

"Alright, see you later." Michael said, not wanting to look at him and avoiding eye contact. Mr. Afton walked out.

"You're okay now, Mike." You said, rubbing his back. He sighed heavily. The two of you got ready for the birthday party scheduled for today.

It was a pretty average work day. Just some kids running around, the occasional kid that would be scared of an animatronic that you had to convince to them was nice and all of that wonderful stuff.

Suddenly, a knock was heard from the door. You almost went to get it, until you saw the birthday girl's mother open it.

"We're with the Hurricane Police Department, and there's been a child in this neighborhood reported missing. We were just wondering if you know of any recent events involving this girl." The officer showed a flier to the woman. The picture showed a little blonde girl, with bright blue eyes and curly hair.

"Oh goodness, yes. S-She was supposed to come to this birthday party today!" The mother said, looking concerned.

"Well, thank you for the help, miss." The officer said, after she had explained a few more things.

You couldn't help but think that you've seen this girl before. You want to say you saw her in your dreams, but at the same time, you had no clue.

The party ended up being shut down slightly early due to the parents scared of their children ending up in the same way as the missing girl did. You and Michael drove to his house, planning on eating dinner there.

"What do you think happened to that girl? I've seen her around here before, like playing around outside with her dog." He said. This was getting strange. The idea of that girl and that dog seemed so familiar to you. You just weren't sure what the yellow rabbit thing was about.

The two of you got to the house, walking in. Michael decided he'd cook something for you tonight.

"Huh, that's strange. I can't find the smallest knife from the package I got for my dad. Must be in the dishwasher or something." He said, grabbing the second next to smallest one.

After he had made you some pasta, he became a bit too proud of himself.

"I should cook for you more often, Y/N. With cooking skills like these, you can not let them go to waste." You giggled, shaking your head.

"Maybe I should cook less for you. It looks like I'm feeding your ego more than your stomach." You said. He laughed. The two of you sat at the table, eating and talking. Suddenly, you two heard keys unlocking the front door. Michael groaned.

"You're okay, Mike." You said, smiling. The door opened, and Mr. Afton came walking in, looking..blank. His eyes seemed more dead today than usual. As he passed you, you scrunched up your nose slightly.

Damn, that dude needs to learn about cologne.

He reaked of rusty metal and something else you couldn't really put your finger on, but it smelled like death.

"How was work, dad?" Michael asked. He shrugged his shoulders.

"I guess you could say it was a pretty busy day." He said.

"I'll be in my workshop.."

"Oh, Dad, did you hear about that missing report on that Susie girl down the street?" Michael asked. He turned around.

"Yeah. What a shame. Her parents should have been keeping an eye out for her." He said, turning back around and walking into his workshop.

Susie..I've heard that name from somewhere.
